University School of Chemical Technology (USCT) was established in 1998. It is the only institution dedicated to Chemical Technology except IIT Delhi in Delhi-NCR region. The school was formed to provide higher level of education in the field of chemical science. You need to appear in JEE Mains conducted by NTA each year and you need to appear in IPU university counselling with the percentile you score, apart from caste quota Delhi home state quota is also there for which you only need schooling in Delhi

- College infrastructure is very beautiful. Makes college life intresting and enjoyful.
- Library is quite huge and fully ac. Can study there for hours.

- Practical labs sometimes dont have required equipments.
- Some professors are strict about attendance.
Admission:
Got admission through my JEE score and rank. The official IPU website has all the required details. Fill out the form for various programmes available. They conducted the college allotment program I got into this college in the 1st round. I took my seat in 2nd round.

- Fees structure is too low as compared to Dtu, Nsut
- Campus is so beautiful and many ground is available

- Lab is not running well and all equipments is not working
- Not give farewell and other fest and low budget

I take Jee mains exam and I got 91 percentile and take admission you can take admission if you get 80 percentile. Sc get more reservation if you are sc then you can take easily admission .no difficulties face

- The campus life is amusing. It enables us to socialize with people of different branch.
Dislikes
- Schedule of notice are not good i.e. they inform us about the term exam i week before the examination.
- The most problem that everyone face regarding the semester syllabus.
Admission:
No, admission procedure is significantly good. I didn't face any issue in the procedure of admission. College faculty is good and very helpful. I have only one problem which is regarding the fee payment through he helpdesk, they can improvement that.
Admission:
JEE(joint entrance exam) is the exam which I gave for admission. Because less number of students opt for this course that's why the cutoff of the course is high. Generally a student scoring 3,00,000 to 4,00,000 rank will be able to get admission in the course. For the admission process you have to register yourself on the website of IPU. Then step by step you will be able to see the list of colleges which are participating in the counselling. You will have to fill your choices according to college and course in the order which you want.
Admission:
First I had to register for councelling on GGSIPU main website. Admission was based on the rank obtained in JEE (MAINS). After the result of Jee mains was announced, councelling started in which I had to select and prioritise options(colleges). Since my rank was under the cutoff, I got allotted the college I wanted. Then I had to pay 40k for seat reservation and later 39k for admission (40k + 39k = 79k yearly fees of this course).
Course Curriculum Overview:
The facilities is nice and the course is also very good and the curriculum is wide The students of USCT actively participate in various competitions held by the university, IITs and other chemical organisations. The REACT Society of USCT is an active organization that has been formed to advance the objectives of the student community of the University School of Chemical Technology to stimulate interaction and interest between faculty and students of all academic areas in the USCT. It aims at providing academic outreach as well as ties to the local industries and chemical engineering professionals. Also to provide students with opportunities that are not available within the classroom and are related to the field of chemical and biochemical engineering.
Admission:
I got admission in this college on my jee mains ranking and by applying general Ews quota. I chose this college since it was the only college after IIT Delhi to provide Chemical Engineering in Delhi. Also due to wide career choices in the Chemical field. The admission process here is quite late and slow as compared to other colleges. A positive aspect of this college is that it's a university but in terms of academics it's not up to mark. I used to surf many websites when my admission was going to take place like career360, collegedunia, collegepravesh etc.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In USCT courses are offered as dual degrees. It is a 4+2 year degree course. The syllabus is based on syllabus of IIT Delhi. It prepares a student for qualifying gate in the field of biotechnology and chemical department. The labs and classes are well maintained and regular labs are being conducted. It uses useful softwares like ASPEN PLUS and MATLAB and develop meaningful connections with industries.
Admission:
College management needs to work upon just the placement cell and needs to invent new methods to keep uninterested students glued and up for studies.
