- Parking services as the campus includes 3-4 colleges altogether so we have 2 parking places
- Commutable location as it is very near to the metro station (govind puri)and the bus stand(govind puri)
Dislikes
- Faculties partial behaviour towards some students like ot giving them enough internal marks or being rude to the students for no apparent reason even when students does everything they say so.
- Placement coordinator is the biggest drawback here in BCIIT, he doesn't work enough to get job opportunities for children and then scold then for not getting placed
Course Curriculum Overview :
MCA Is very diverse and covers almost every part of IT sector in itself. I aspire to be a data analyst and i have got some learning throughout my MCA journey. Talking about the curriculum,i would say it is adequate according to the learning pace of students it has all the important aspects of actually being a good software developer in future, you can enhance your coding skills in almost every language (programming) and the DSA part of the code is taught here very well to make the ground strong. There is 1 internal and 1 external every semester except for the last semester (4th) because it has only dissertation. So if you study fine during internals you can easily ace your externals.
Placement Experience :
From end of second semester, students become eligible for the placement drives but companies come in our third semester only. BCIIT Had the record of 100% placement before 2022 but after 2022 only 20% students got placed, bciit had a dips of almost 80% , placement coordinator was not coordinating with the students to get enough job opportunities for the students to sit in. There were companies like IGT solutions in which 5 students got placed but IGT didn't give the job afterwards. Ncr voyix,ncr alteas,IVP, CVENT, BIGOH NOTATION,TO THE NEW ,PUBLICIS, DAFFODIL are some big companies That comes in the college with average package of 5lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At the time of my admission (2022-2024) fees was around 150400/ year. But as of now the fees has increased to 165000/year. The new fee structure for the first year is divided like Tuition fee:133000 University fee:20000 Alumni contribution (one time): 2000 Security deposit (refundable):10000 And in the second year,there would be no alumini contribution and security deposit so the fees in total would be 153000 for the second year. There is also a registration fees of 40000 that is deposited on the official IP University website when we freeze our sear in the desired college. FINANCIAL AIDS are available for ews,sc and st but nothing for general.
Campus Life :
There are 2 types of fest that are held in our college, one is technical and other is for clubs. There are alot of clubs here in bciit including dance, singing, innovation, anchoring, photography etc. Our library is well maintained and have every technical book in it and you can easily check it out there. There is a digital library too for students who doesn't have systems at their place to work on. Sports is a big thing in bciit we have teams in almost every sports and every year we have our sports meet too which have games like cricket, badminton, volleyball and some indoor games too.
Admission :
I gave the NIMCET and almost all the colleges that comes under IP University give preference to the students who appeared fro NIMCET. I scored 3990 rank in NIMCET and was almost got every college there is in IP University which teaches MCA. I wanted bvcam but i didn't score enough so i didn't get it, i had jims rohini and cdac in my list too but i didn't choose them as jims and cdac did not have good placement results in previous year before my admission but if you see now, jims have to highest ratio of all the colleges in ip University even main campus. There is no admission process, you freeze your allotted seat on the ip website and then come to college with your documents to get verified and pay the fees and you get admission
Faculty :
Faculty members of BCIIT are good( professionally speaking) they have knowledge about what they teach(some teachers does) and they are quite helpful in every aspect. Faculty mentors students in every way possible ,you could talk to them about anything and they will help you in any way out. But there are some teachers who doesn't have that much knowledge and teaches the most difficult subject that makes it hard for the students to learn . Mr sandeep jain(placement officer) is rude and scold students for his own mistakes, doesn't do his job properly Mrs. Sonia batra is the most partial teacher I've ever came across,she favours the students who does her work and cuts marks of those who doesn't. Mrs. Smriti sharma does not know what she teaches and tries to be too cool of a teacher with students but is always rude to students and does not respect them and then expects students to give her appropriate amt of respect. There are 2 main exams in one year and 1 internal every semester.

Jims rohini was too far from my place and my main Motive to do mca was to do get placed in an good company and placements were not good in jims but now jims have the highest placement ratio than others
