The course curriculum is well balanced providing both theoretical and practical knowledge. This curriculum of this course provide knowledge based on real life application. The areas of improvement include: The department can organize more industrial visit for the students to be more confident about there future goals. The difficulty of the course according to me is well balanced..It's not too tough neither too easy.

First of all I would like to say that my plan different but because of the the cutoff i had to choose this course because i had no other choice left. But honestly i don't regret my decision because in Tezpur University each and every course has it's unique importance in the real world. The course are given an overview in the beginning of the semester and there are total 4 exam i.e. 2 sessional 1 mid sem and 1 end sem. We get around 3 weeks between each exam.

my course curriculum is totally based on acite engineering, FOOD enginnering syallabus provide by aicte. practile and lab in the tezpur uinversity to choose this branch and my interent in the food enginnering , curriculum in good for world class food enginnering ,internship provide by iit MOU signed by govt.
I had to choose the course because seats were avail only under this category in the 2nd counselling. There are more than 2 teachers for each subject. Teachers are highly qualified and most of the guest faculties are also passed out from foreign universities. Because of the covid, we had late admissions so now we have to complete the course within 4 months instead of 6, that's why we are having exams every month(2 seasonal and 1 midterm,1 end term). So you can say there are exams after every 15 days but you get used to it.
I like chemistry base subjects and I want to become a food manager. Here the student ratio in the food engineering department is 30 members only. other departments have mostly 60 members. all faculty members are mostly from higher education.
A semester will consist of 5 tests and 2 terminals. Out of 5 tests, 2 will consist of assignments and the rest will be tests. Labs are sophisticated. World class infrastructure. Saturdays and Sundays, no classes which mean you’ve got 2 full days to enjoy.
TU's food technology department is extremely well-equipped. The laboratories are among the best. Professors are incredible. They're all experts in their respective fields. Of course, it's a combination of the two. There are a few that aren't so nice, but overall it's fantastic. Projectors are available in the classes. The labs are large and equipped with some of the most advanced technology.
Yes we were given industrial exposure. Its an emerging scope. Because in the coming years we will see great rise in food industry. Faculties were good and supportive. My guide Poonam mishra helped me a lot with my project and was always supportive. I am thankful to her.
