Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants looking forward to applying in Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Law [BALLB] {Hons.} should meet the following criteria

Candidate should have a minimum 50% of marks in the qualifying examination (10+2) as well as 45 % in English subject, separately.

For candidates belonging to the reserved categories, the rules of UGC, GOI, BCI, and AUS whichever is applicable, will be followed B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) course. However candidates seeking admission against OBC quota must submit income certificate from the appropriate authority testifying exclusion from creamy layer category.

Candidates who have graduated from School of Legal Studies of Assam University or from the Law Colleges affiliated to Assam University, 10% of marks shall be added to their percentage for preparation of merit list.

Note

Selection of candidates for admission will be made on the basis of percentage of marks secured in qualifying examination and performance in the admission test and personal interview.
The weight age for the qualifying examination, admission test, and personal interview will be in the ratio of 25: 50: 25.

Easy access to library, which is really good for knowledge purpose. Availablity of different kinds of books
Can make easy friendship if you have a extrovert capability.

Dislikes

Canteen food is generally not refered by any students. As it can be unhygienic sometimes.
The outsider tends to dominate more in the university. Majority of the students are from Bihar. They tend to dominate the local students

I love the teaching of the teacher, they are very good.
The campus of this that I like more to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course that is BA LLB because I want to be a lawyer. The course is very easy if you want and are excited to learn. And the having in this university are in a large ratio. The teaching is also good. They are clearly solve the problems. Exams are taken in a serious method no cheating and in hard security. Everyone can pass if he or she studies well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was not that lengthy and tough. The teachers were friendly and very disciplined. Their teaching methods were also very nice and understandable. Exams used to hold on time and students had to answer all the questions to pass the exam.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure is minimum of 5000 first semester where health facilities library facilities and tuition fees are included its depends on the course like in BALLB the the fees goes up to 10000. for engineering it's near about 30000 per semester.
