Course Curriculum Overview :

The frequency and timing of exam is good i guess. The semester completes before winter vacation and summer vacation. As i told courses like soft skills, tinkering and mentoring plays very important role in other aspects. Where they can improve is on practical applications of things. When i heard that in first sem, we are going to gave engineering mechanics subject. I was very excited. I thought i will get to learn interesting things.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, Adobe, Cisco, Oracle, Texas Instruments, goldman sachs, Flipkart, wipro, Tower Research capital, and JP Morgan are among top recruiters of IIT Roorkee. In internship one get great exposures and learning. Its part time also. Sometimes its hectic but one can manage nicely with good time management skills.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Campus Life :

The technical fest is cognizance. It is held in February. Cultural Fest is Thomso, it is held in October. In library, there are a wide range of books and journals available. But some books i wanted, it was not there too. Classrooms are fully equipped with projectors, centralized ACs, soundproof walls, big blackboard, mics speakers, charging ports and comfortable benches and plenty amount of light. There are so many clubs like finance club, business club, tech club, cultural club. Students take part as per their interest and passion. And one gets great exposure and learning in clubs.

Admission :

I chose this college because its one of the finest engineering colleges in India. On my JEE Rank i got this college and chemical engineering branch. I m happy and satisfied with my choice. I opted. For IIT Kanpur also but now i think getting IIT Roorkee is best thing. First JEE Main happens of student will be selected in that exam they will get chance to sit in JEE Adv. Almost 15 lakhs student sit in JEE MAIN and top 2 Lakhs students get chance to compete in Advanced and only top 20 to 25 thousands students get Admission in IITs. If you qualify JEE Main but not Advanced you will not get IITs but you will get NITs, National Institute of technology.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio here is 1:3. Relationship between faculty and student is very nice. Even outside the class, the faculty are very helpful and supportive. Ganpule Sir for Mechanics is my favourite faculty. He clears each and every concept of mechanics. In a semester, 2 exams take place. Mid sem and end sems. And in between there are quizzes and projects. Few students fail but the re-examination process is also there so not a big deal. The courses here are very good. Apart from programming, maths, and physics, they teach us soft skills, entrepreneurship, IP and so much useful which is necessary in other aspects.

Night Life :

College campus in spread in 360 acres. Every hostel has its own gym, canteens and a central gym is also there. A big central ibrary and other departmental libraries. Cafes and restaurants are also there inside campus. Campus one can go out and in aany time. But boys cant come inside girls hostel after 12 mid night and vice versa. Inside college, cafes , canteens, james thomson building gardem, Student activity centre,Multi activity centre, these are places one can hang out. And outside campus one can to to watch movies, near by there is Haridwar 1 hour away. Bus will take 75 RS. PER HEAD. Rishikesh , Musoorie some best places to visit.

I choose computer science and engineering because of new technologies are coming and we are having scope in this to get job but there is very rush in CSE i didn't suggest anyone to do CSE with private college In our college there are many areas to change. One of them is curriculum and teaching style.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is based on the latest technologies used in the real world. The courses are structured in such a way that the students don't face any diffuculty to study and the entire course is relevant to the real world applications. The curriculum is comprehensive and makes it much demanding in today's growing technological world. The teaching method are more based in practical learning anf there are exams held twice in a semester as mid-sem exams and end-sem exams. The difficulty level lies between moderate to tough level.
