Course Curriculum Overview :

Like I would rate is 8/10 because almost all the topics that they teach are outdated I guess and the clg may not have proper material to prepare for courses I specifically chose this course because I am so deeply in love with electrical engineering branch I Cannot suggest anything regarding improvement in this course

Internships Opportunities :

I am from a 2nd year student so I cannot explain much about the internships and written earlier the internships and placements are quite same in every time In this college so better read my previous slide to know about the internships and we make may projects in our four years but the main projects come in our 3rd and 4th year which are very important for our placements timand the outcomes should be shown to the proffesor and he clarifies our doubts in the project we did and most of companies offer product development role only during the internships and as I said I don't know much about the internships as I am 2nd year undergraduate fro iit ropar

Placement Experience :

From the third semester students become eligible for the placement like internships and main placements start at fourth year. companies like Wipro, HCl , Zomato, swiggy, Google, etc many companies visit our college and many offer have been made to the students. In the last year the highest package was 86 lakhs offered and average package over all branches was 22 lakhs per annum.and the last year almost 76 Percent of the applied students have got placed and my plans after getting the degree is to do a good job in a very big mnc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

All the years I will be paying a course fee of 1 lakh and we should pay a fees of 23 thousand for hostel and mess in total and there would be a rebate for 20 days.this is the total fees that we would be paying for each semester for four years.registration fees for mess is 5000,and the josaa registration fees is 7000 all I have said is for general category students, and also hostel fees is same for all category students.for sc,st there won't be any course fee.for obc, they have to pay 47 thousand if their parents annual income is in the range of 1-5 lakhs. There would an merit cum means scholarship for all students whose parents income is less than five lakhs and secured a cg of 6.5 and above would be getting a scholarship amount of 4thousand per semester of four months this is all what I know regarding scholarships as I am a general category student so I can't get any of the scholarships

Campus Life :

There will be total three fests happening in this college which includes sports fests a.k.a aarohan, tech fest a.k.a advitiya, cultural fest a.k.a Zeitgeist these are the three fest that happen in an year in our college aarohan happens in Feburary and Zeitgeist happens in November and adivitiya happens in May ,we have a very big library available to us which is open 24/7 and the classroom and infrastructure everything is so good and very spacious and our campus is 530 acres which makes it very beautiful and handsome there are many group and clubs in the college in which various events happen in it

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is not so good as I feel because the room are abit congested for two members and it's okay until 2nd year and from 3rd year each person gets an single occupancy room which is too spacious and the mess quality and food taste is so good and we have three different mess for eating and we can go anywhere anytime and registration process in hostel is quite simple go to caretaker say your name he just allots u a room with your friends there is no chance for any iitian to live in a pg outside the college which is strictly prohibited and also no 18+ things are allowed in the hostel like wine, cigarette etc drugs too anything is not allowed in the hostel

Admission :

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:20,,, faculty to student relationship is so good they interact very properly with students,we can just mail the faculty and directly meet him.the faculty that I liked is sudarshan Iyengar because he is too involved in the subject and very good person.the faculty named Reddy sir hod of electrical department I dint like him because his grading system is too bad .there will be total four exams per subject like quiz-1, midsem, quiz-2, endsem exams .Almost everyone pass these exams and may be around 5-6 people out of 80 fail the exam for subject and for lab subjects there will be only one final end sem exam.the course curriculum is good and it is relevant to the topics that I have studied in my 12th grade

Other Applied Colleges

IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology - [IITH] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)

I am more interested in electrical engineering rather than mechanical engineering

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

Placement Experience:

There were many companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Google, Wal-Mart and more than 800+ companies visited for campus placements. I will prefer for startup if I will not get the desirable placements offers.

I'm currently in the second year, so not that familiar with the placement process. But the average package is 11-12 LPA. The students are eligible for internships in 5th semester and eligible for placements in 7th semester.

Placement Experience:

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. A lot of companies like PayTm, Maruti Suzuki, etc come every year and recruit a large number of students. The placement process is of several rounds and tests. There is an Entrepreneur Cell that helps students enhance their skills.
