Remarks :

All in all, I'd say the college, in almost all respects, meets all my standards.

Entrance Preview :

I took the Tezpur University entrance exam for Integrated M.A. n English. I chose this course as I've always wanted to go for literature and this course offers me a Masters degree without the hassle of appearing for a separate entrance exam for that. I opted for Tezpur University as it's a central university near my hometown.

Course Curriculum Overview :

What I like about the course structure here is that they offer a wide range of courses to the 1st and 2nd years, and this gives them a variety of options to choose from, like Linguistics, Grammar, etc. We also have electives like Mass Communications and Journalism, Cultural Studies or Sociology for the first two years.

Internships Opportunities :

I honestly have very little idea about this, I'm sorry.

Placement Experience :

This is a question not applicable to the course I'm in.

College Events :

The biggest event is the one organised by the School of Engineering, TechXetra. Guest stars like Benny Dayal, DJ Candice of Sunburn, Aditee Singh Sharma. Papon and Zubeen performed in the Annual Meets. The participation in these meets are huge as there are a wide range of activities, from paintball fights to debates to music battles.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, in my opinion my admission fee for every semester is 10,003 rupees only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are a few available but I have little or no knowledge about them.

Campus Life :

There are more girls than boys in the campus. All "parties" must be held with due permission of the required authorities. The only negative aspect of how both genders are treated is that while there is an in-time for both boys and girls in the campus, only the girls have to stick to it i.e., there are guards that close the gates of the hostel after. The boys are more or less free to move around campus all night. I understand that it's not plausible for girls too to be permitted to roam around campus all night, but atleast the treatment of both genders should be equal in that even boys should have close supervision regarding their in-time.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are usually two-tiered with a few three-tiered in only one girls hostel. They are sufficiently spaced, with inbuilt wardrobes and cupboards in the wall.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, I have met a few in convocations and they do give good advice on any thing related to our college experience.

Exam Structure :

There are 4 exams, with one exam in the form of assignments/presentation, etc, plus two more major exams (the mid-semester and the end-semester exams). The syllabus is divided with so many exams going around, so that reduces the stress.

Faculty :

The staff are pretty qualified with many of them graduating from prestigious universities like JNU. The teaching is usually great in that regards.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has good balance between practical and theory. Course objectives and outcome of the course are clearly defined to the faculties and students. The syllabus is need-based and well organised. The curriculum is effective in developing professional skills required for the field. There's not sufficient amount of book available in the libraries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our Course is of CBCS patter which gives SGPA and CGPA. The course and syllabus is made very effectively. The curriculum consists of not only India but outside India too. Such as American Literature, African Literature, Victorian period, post colonialism etc The course oneust ne improve is the translation paper as this has been cancelled due to some inconvenience. But this paper should be included as it is one best and likely subject in English language and literature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Passion for understanding economic systems and their impact on society drove me to pursue a Master's in Economics. The MA in Economics, curriculum equips me with both practical and skill for real-world application and a solid foundation for advanced academic pursuits. Integrate real-world case studies and industry collaborations to enhance applications in MA in Economics.Update the curriculum to include emerging economic trends and digital tools for comprehensive skill development. Teaching methods should be based kn the syllabus. Teachers should use digital tools to present the ideas and make effective in teaching and learning method. The Main Entrance called CPGEE is held in the month of July(especially last week). One who wants to crack the exam, mustccomplete the UG syllabus of Cotton University. Exam is difficult based on my experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my childhood I love the Sanskrit language, therefore It was my aim to Postgraduate in Sanskrit. So I want to do my Master's. And the reason behind admission to Assam University is that it is a Central University of Assam. And at the time of my graduation, my teachers said that the faculty of the Sanskrit department is too Good. There are 35 seats each semester, and 6 teachers in the department. 4 of them were Regular and 2 guest faculties. Therefore the ratio of teacher and students is 6:35. The Qualifications of teachers are very appreciated, The HoD of the department is Prof. Snigdha Das Roy, MA, MPhil, Ph.D., and other faculties were atleast have done Ph.D. degrees from recognized universities. So their teaching methods are too good. They can do their best to teach us. Teachers in our department are like a friend, philosophers, and guides. That's why the students will develop by all rounds. Every semester has 3 term exams and assignments, seminars too.30% of final exams come from these.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are not very great but I can say good. Talking about the placement opportunities in cultural studies, I personally think teaching options are the best. You can apply in the university as well for the fellowship. Corporate jobs in this field are in the companies settled over seas like Colgate Palmolive, Delphi Automotive, DRDO, Glaxo Smithkline, Godrej, and Boyce in their HR Department. The highest package went to Rs. 15,00,000 in the general category.
