Remarks :

Tezpur University is the only Central University situated in Assam, and getting a seat in this prestigious college was a dream come true. It has a lot of greenery as well. The one and only bad aspect of TU is that its located in a very remote area, far away from the town.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen Civil engineering because I wanted to join the this sector and contribute something to this world where the future generation can remember my name as the main builder of a famous eye catcher. The field experiences are very much fun, and it helps to develop the skillset for further use. However, the course needs to be more skill-based rather than theory-based.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience :

Though the placements are 100%, but it is surely not upto the mark. Companies come with very low packages, like wipro, accenture, qualcom, techtrunk etc. Mostly students go for MTech after doing their Btech.

Campus Life :

The campus of TEZU is very big. It provides 24*7 to every student and also has a great building of books filled in every floor. The also have well equipped labs which helps every student to learn more in the practical term.

Admission :

To get into Tezpur University, you need to give JEE exam. It selects students with the percentiles they get. I got 85 percentile and I am currently in the Civil department and really happy.

NIT Silchar - Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college were very good until last year but last year due to decline in tech jobs and the burst of the IT boom , the placements have declined to a significant amount and there is no hope of recovery anytime soon . As far as I have learned from my seniors, placements are not very satisfactory.

IIT-JEE 2016 , AIR 6629 , IIT guwahati is a college. It has its name and fame. So i chose it because it has all the facilities like co curricular and has a beautiful campus to stay at.
