Course Curriculum Overview :

Ichoosed b.tech mech because i like to get more physical strain and pratical knowledge on real life problems. the institute is having research parks and many starttup tech teams .all the e-cell and many tech teams which are quite intresting.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 44000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

tution fee depends on what cast you belong to .as for me i am obc and it is 82k per sem which includes hostel,mess and tution fee . and there are many scholarship schemes like mcm scholarship which is provided by alumni for students whose parental income is 1-5 lpa .it is provided 66k per year and as soon we get into college we get many other scholarships based on our skills

Campus Life :

as of start there will be orientation programme in which they'll give you brief about the institute .and later we'll have department orientation for individual department. they wiil be freshie nights and some events in the start of 2 months,and we'll be having so many dj nights and so many fundae sessions for tech teams and clubs .and we have 4 programmes called NSO,NSS,NCC,NCA .we acn pursue any one of this based on our interest.

Hostel Facilities :

for as of first year they'll allote mandakini hostel which is the best hostel with all the best infrastructure.the hostel fee for 1st sem is around 35k.which includes mess fee also .and the mess menu it is having wide variety of foods . all the registration process will be send through mail and everything is online .

Hostel Fee : INR 38000 per year

Admission :

For eligibility for the course we need to qualify to jee advanced exam .and as for last year the cutoff was around 1200 for b.tech mech obc for men. and we'll have a josaa counselling process of 6 rounds and by that, we can enrol on our favoured college based on our rank. after your seat is confirmed they'll send you a confirmation letter which includes all the process of applications.

Faculty :

yeah all the faculty was very good ,and they all done one phd or masters .they are well expreienced ,they are very good at interacting with all the students ,i approach so many profs to clarify my doubts and they will clear my doubts.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our college was trying its best to provide job opportunities for the students but no companies are ready to give the job to students. The placement training was good but the students want more training about what placement is. They only conduct lots of tests and exams and assignments, etc.

I chose this course because I had an interest in how the machine works by itself, like censors, how they work, etc. Faculty members in SRM are very friendly and with top qualifications. Admission:

I got admission into this college through my scores in the JEE MAINS exam. The college takes inn students through their JEE scores. I scored a decent of 93 in JEE mains and got admitted into the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not that good at my time. although rround 60% of the students were placed but the salary offered used to be low. The salary offered was between 10K to 20K per month. I dont know about now, the packages must have developed withing these years.
