  • my department, course structure, professors, local shop price, transport price

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had selected my department because I had interest in the field from my school life. in school my tutors taught me in a very comprehensive and good way which I do not find same in my college. now I lack interest in my own department and I don't understand because they don't teach in a good way. and the course structure is very bad as well. there are so many things to study in a single semester that students end up mugging up the theory and do not understand effectively

Internships Opportunities :

Amazon, Google, Flipkart, bain and co, Morgan Stanley, bcg, Microsoft, etc. roles offered are sde, software, consulting, product management, data science, quant, finance, etc. stipend varies from company to company

Placement Experience :

students become eligible for placement form their 4th year. in 3rd year we have internship season though. many top companies do visit our campus starting with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, bcg, Morgan Stanley etc. highest package goes to 2-3 CRS and avg will be around 30lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

fees structure is good, students get good scholarships and financial assistance. campus employment is running bad these days due to recession. many students are unplaced. students who manage to maintain a good cgpa gets placed mostly and rest are unemployed

Campus Life :

my over-all experience is okay-ish due acads but apart from that it's very good. made really good friends. fests are really good. two most famous fests are kshitij and spring fest. books and journals are there in the library one can avail from there easily. classrooms have ac and speaker. sports culture is not very good

Hostel Facilities :

hostels have beds study table, chair, light, fan, bathroom with geaser. mess food is really good. provides 4 meals per day. all students must live in their hostel. living in pg kr rented rooms is not allowed.

Admission :

getting into IIT is very difficult. students have to go through two very tough exams one is jee mains and the other is jee advanced. as everyone knows one has to go through a lot to get admission in IIT and has to study a lot so yeah it's not a piece of cake.

Faculty :

the faculty to student ratio in my department is 1:160. it highly impacts my learning experience..I don't think the professors teach effectively. they might have very good qualification but they lack teaching skills. most of them are not helping and hence not approachable.

No companies offered on-campus internship . We were asked to contact by ourselves for off campus internships. You have to work hard and build real world projects. Then apply for off campus internship. Campus placements starts from 7th semester. TCS, Wipro, Infosys and many others mass recruiter come for placement drive . Average is 4 LPA this year 60% students got placements. I am preparing for GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after the end of their 6th semester or third year. All though there eligible for internship after the end of 4th semester or 2nd year for on campus interviews. Almost all big companies of the nation and globally visit our campus. High-profile companies like high frequency trading firms like Quad Eye, graviton all visit our campus. The highest package offered for the computer science and mathematics and computing branch is around 2.2 crores while the median package is around 40 lacs. For my branch of chemical engineering the average package is 21 lakhs with median being 19 lakhs. All big tech companies like Google Apple Microsoft Amazon Facebook all visited campus. Placements and internships are never an issue in our college and are the last thing to worry about. If you can get admission here then you will have much more freedom to explore your entrepreneurial skills and pursue your passions as well.

Placement scenario is okay, it's niether that good nor that bad. Students need to study on their own, apart from college curriculum to get placed in a good company. The highest package would be around 10 lpa and average package around 3 lpa. Around 20-30 companies visit the college online as well as offline.Around 70 percent students get placed in the placement drive .

Placement Experience:

Placements are average as compared to other private engineering colleges. But even if few companies come, around 8-10, you can crack if you have the required skills and command over your specialization field. For CSE graduates, one should also take care of other tech exams offcampus, which can be a great opprtunity for skilled candidates.
