The college campus is very big and beautiful. The Thomson building here attracts the most. And the weather here is also quite nice.
The new hostels of the college are very nice and beautiful.

The quality of food in the mess here is not that good and the management of the old hostel is also not good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My subject is related to research or I found my subject quite interesting so I chose it. The course curriculum of my subject is quite good. In the 1st semester, a lot of basic knowledge is taught which is enough to strengthen the subject. There are two main exams in a semester MTE and ETE. MTE timing is 1.30 hourse and two exams per day. ETE timing is 3 hours and one exam per day. Apart from these, quizzes and practicals are also held. It is bit diffcult to manage all these because apart from these, the student also has many things to which he has to pay attention.

Class Size : 47Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are two semesters in a year- Autumn and Spring. The fees for both the semesters are slightly different. In the first year, the autumn fee is Rs 150000 and Spring fee is Rs 130000. These fees are not the same for all students. These fees are for General and OBC students. and apart from these, college also given scholarships like fee waiver, MCM etc.

Campus Life :

The name of annual fest is Thosmo and the technical fest is cognizance. They are typically held by 6 month difference. The college library is quite good and all books are easily available. There are two lecture buildings (gargi and APJ) in the college for daily lectures whose classrooms are quit big and good. Sports facilities are also very good and many sports competitions are also organised.

Hostel Facilities :

At the time of admission in college, hostel rooms are allotted. Or the room seems to be changed every year. The rooms of old hostels are not good but the infrastructure or rooms of new hostels are quite good. The quality of food in the mess is very good and a special dinner is organized once in a month.

Hostel Fee : INR 38000 per year

Admission :

Every year JEE Main and JEE Advance paper is taken. First of all one has to pass jee main paper which is easier as compared to jee advance. Only after clearing the cutoff of jee main can one appear for the jee advance paper. JEE advance paper has been quite difficult. After clearing the cutoff of JEE advance paper one can take admission in IIT. Seats for IIT are available according to rank. Seats are reserved for all categories.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is quite well. The credit for all courses of the department is 4 or 3. The student's interaction with the teacher is also good. Teachers guide students well in both subject related and career related.

A honest one

Placement Experience:

For placement this college is not good, the average placement is about 4 lakh. The highest package from the college is 1.24Cr per annum. The students get started placed from the 5th semester but the ratio of placement is about 40 percent.
