Average Placement is low as compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good but some subjects are added to our courses there is no reference to them and are not essential for us. Otherwise, curriculum helps in preparation for us in real world applications. But I feel that duration of semester is short (approx. 4 months).

Class Size : 1600Course Fees : INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered but not much so you have to apply online or search for offline internships. At last you must have skills for your job your marks doesn't decide they just help as an advantage when you have skills.

Placement Experience :

If I talk about Engineering courses, students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and there are no big companies recruiters like MAANG but great companies are approaching here. As our college offers 80% placements for students, but average placement is low.!

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee increases for upcoming batches year by year but in comparison to other colleges these college provides good fees structures and many scholarships and financial aids for students. But there are too many small extra charges or fine.

Campus Life :

Campus life is great here you will definitely enjoy have a great experience. There are so many fests and big event is celebrated every year as a festival called PINAK in which celebrities come. So many sports and extracurricular activites .

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities provided in hostel rooms are enough but not good. Meal quality is good and menu is great but menu doesn't changes for months! So you have to eat repeatedly that meal at specific day of week.

Hostel Fee : INR 85000 per year

Admission :

As there is direct admission and no entrance exams but you want scholarship you can give entrance exam of DBUU. There are some reservation benefits also. Overall easy admission process for all students.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is great and it enhance learning experience. I often approach to teachers for my problems but few ones are not approachable(If you know, you know). Overall nice experience.

Placement is good in BTECH CSE .. As 70 % students are placed in Btech CSE 2024 . From 7 semester students btech are eligible for Placements round and many companies visit our campus like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe.. and the highest package was 52 lpa and average package is 6 lpa .. Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
