nit trichy have one of the toughest academics among all good colleges that motivates me more to study
the campus is full of green tress which i love the most and good for health too

there are few things i dislike such as library is far away from my department
sometimes roads are full of mud it causes musquitos and insects to come in rooms

Course Curriculum Overview :

it has one of the hardest academic design among top colleges, that is quite challenging to do specially when you are surrounded by people with almost same knowledge as you, and yeah teachingmethod is quite good too

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 62500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

i have to pay 62500 per semister since i do not fall in any low family income catagory and i have to pay extra for my mess and hostel which is quite resonable in my opinion and there are other charges such as libary, medicle and wifi etc. and it is quite affordable

Campus Life :

im having overall good college life experience and people i meet here are quite good, local people are friendly and i like the culture of these people too, library is quite huge i can find there almost every book i need

Admission :

admission process is quite easy, get good percentile in jee mains and apply for josaa councelling and you might get a good branch seat and thats it, i think that is quite easy, it do have some home state quota and reservations are there of couse

Faculty :

all the college profs are well qualified from various institues like nit,iit and abroad unis. they have very good knowledge in there subject which help a lot while teaching but grading is bit strict, if you can study properly you wont have any problem

Students starting placed from their last semester. Reputed companies gave an offer. Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

SASTRA College Life- An Amazing Experience

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
