Course Curriculum Overview :

I am currently studying in nit jalandhar pursuing btech from instrumentation and control enginneering . the ICE department here has a lot of experinced faculty and their teaching methods are also upto the mark . we have a planned curriculam based on the course guidlines. we have our mid sems and end sems in a gap of 2 monthes so it is a sechduled curriculam

Internship oppurtinities: There are a lot of internship oppurtinites provided at the campus . students started getting their internship in the 2nd year itself . students can apply to any company according to his/her skills and basically afterall its is an opprtunity to learn and improve.

campus placements is decents and satisfactory and is continuisly increasing year to year and with a effective rate compare to other reputted nits. Companies visites: 150+ (including google, flipkart, amazon, oracle, BPCL etc....) Highest package: 1.2 cr Offers made: 1000+ students placed: 995+/ year startups :15+

Campus Life :

My overall experience in this college is above average. the extra curricular activities here are so well organised . our college fest is the largest in the north india(in tech) called techniti and we also have our cultural fest called utkansh. students from different colleges across the country came here to compete in the competitions in the fest. it was also an overwhelming experinece at tthat time . there are a lot of clubs related to every field like we have LADC club for debates and all. sports facilities are also up the mark. recently college oragnised sports fest ....

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are well maintained . Facilites provided for hostel students: 1.) Study room per hostel. 2.) TV room for entertainment. 3.) indoor games and sports room . 4.) badminton court and volly court Meal quality: meal quality is satisfactory . here you will be getting food of all kind that is suitable for all students from several region of india. Registration process: registration of hostel is done online/offline on the date of orientation hostel is very affordable. Hostel fees; 25000/semester

Hostel Fee : INR 60500 per year

Admission :

Eligiblity of course:1.) Must have qualified jee-mains with a good score. 2.) also have scored 75% in your 12th boards examinations 3.) must have a percentile greater than 95-96%ile Process of admission: admission is done through jossa and csab counselling . Reservations: Yes you get the benefits of reservations as many seats are reserverd for several castes

Faculty :

faculty-to-student ratio : the ratio is quite satisfactory that is approx. 150 students per faculty. The faculty members are highly qualified from reputted institutes(IITs ) .faculty members are strictly dedicated to their course and encourge the students for the betterment of their students .

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
