Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum at IIT Bombay is very interesting and diverse. It prepares us for industry as well as higher research purposes. The curriculum has many interesting courses which influenced my decision to join the chemical engineering program at iitb. The curriculum is highly suited with real world scenarios and prepares us as highly skilled engineers. The exams are held in semesters as mid semester exams and end semester exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee for each semester is about 1 lakh. Incuding other service fee it makes around 1.4 lakhs. There are many scholarships available for students like merit-cum-means scholarship. It has perks like monthly stipend and also fee waiver for eligible students. The campus employment is very good with high quality recruitment.

Campus Life :

The campus life at IITB is very fulfilling. These are the 4 best years of life for the college students. There are many fests happening throughout the year like mood indigo, techfest, e-summit etc. Mood indigo is the largest college fest in India and many big celebrities come in this fest. The library and classroom facilities are top notch with high speed WiFi and latest technology and resources. One can enjoy any type of sports here and also there are many student run bodies and clubs.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
