Course Curriculum Overview :

Right now in the challenging world computer science plays a major role in the carrer development. This course helps in preparing and learning about the programmes and development in the IT sector. We are having one mid sem and one end sem in the One semister and two semisters in a year.

Class Size : 160Course Fees : INR 125000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is about 125000 a year,there is no increase in the tuition fee throughout the 4 years and one who are having reservations,they have excuse with tution fee they have to pay mess fee and other compulsary charges. This total fee is also based on their category(cast).we can avail scholarships like reliance scholarship etc..

Campus Life :

For every semister we are having minimum two fests,means totally more than 4 fests a year like innovision , cosmo , vriddhi etc.. The library is a bit vast and maximum all books are available in the library.Class rooms are with high technology and good .In the view of sports , this is good platform.

Admission :

For eligibility of the course ,one have to score minimum marks in 12th board and have to clear the JEE MAINS. For application dates,form we have to be thorough with NTA notifications application fees should be paid online to NTA.Reservation plays major role. Anually NTA conducts exams twice,about exam it is quite hard.And in the improvement section about admission process all should be aware of the councelling process.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
