Silicon University, Bhubaneawar is a private institution and was established in 2001 under the affiliation of Utkal University. Then in the year 2002, the institution came under the affiliation of Biju Patnaik University of Technology. The University is recognized by the Odisha Government and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Silicon University, Bhubaneawar ranked in the band 151-300 for Innovation by NIRF 2023 and was categorized under ‘Band-Performer’ in the category of ‘Private or Self-Financed College/Institutes (Technical)’ in ARIIA 2021. The Institute is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).
For the overall excellence in Academic, Research & Development and Innovation in Technical Education, the college was awarded as the best engineering college in the Odisha state by ISTE for the year of 2018. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various specializations. Silicon University Bhubaneswar Admissions
Admissions to the Silicon University are done through the counseling conducted by the Odisha Government based on the entrance examinations merits. Admissions for the first year B. The admission to this university is through JEE MAINS and SUAT(SILICON UNIVESITY ADMISSION TEST) from this year 2024. The counselling process is through OJEE counselling. The eligibility is a candidate should be 10+2 passed with JEE MAINS.

the admission in the college is done through the ojee councelling which both the jee main marks and the ojee marks. there is no such cutoff as since the student who would come in the merit list in the councelling process they would get enrolled.There are also seats reseved for sc,st ews category students.

The admission process was very much simple and ordinary just like the other private colleges.Silicon doesn't conduct examinations of its own rather considers the JEE marks and percentiles and according to that branches are alloted.

- The campus life isn't good. You will find very small campus area. You will not be able to enter into grounds without the permission of authority.
- Many classroom of ECE n EEE building don't have AC's. Though every classrooms are re innovating slowly, still it's quite very hot in summer season.

Admission is done through Jee mains exam rank and you must be under 300000 rank to opt any branch in silicon University. You can apply through NTA councilling and report collage for admission . No there is no reservation benefits, you have to enter through merits. Admission process is good.

Well you can get admission by jee main rank or by ojee rank with ojee counselling or you can directly take spot admission.The cutoff usually in between 1,50,000 to 7,50,00.The admission process is simple you just need to be present here with all the required documents and allotment card.

You should have appeared jee mains or ojee for addmission in the btech program. And through ojee counseling you will get into this college. Here mid sem are of 25 Mark and end sem is of 60 mark and timing for both is 90 min and 180 min respectively. No suggestions for admission process as it is good

eligibility criteria is to clear the jee main exam here.Tere is no reservation here.They take on the basis of their merit.Exams level are very tough here.They need to conduct their own exam so the student who had not clear their jee exam they can give that exam and got the seat.

The fee per year for the Btech in EEE is INR 1.73 Lakhs at the Silicon University, Bhubaneswar. All students who pass 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science/ IT/ Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognised Indian Board can apply for admissions. Applying students must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics along with their chosen optional subject. Students from Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste communities should have secured an aggregate minimum of 40% marks
