Course Curriculum Overview :
Mechanical branch is the oldest branch herein Nit warangal .The college provides a decent faculty with an experience of years.The curriculum however is kinda hectic and messed up.Once you enter the field you'll get less time to go for the extra curricular activities as everything and anything here includes your attendance and academic performance
Internships Opportunities :
you can do internship under a professor or an assistant professor during summer vacations. Also great companies like bosch pvt limited including many it companies visit the campus for the internships every year
Placement Experience :
about 150-180 companies visit the campus every year.companies like microsoft,deloit have had visited the campus for placements as well.It got a good reputation among some well known companies.Highest package goes upto 88 lpa and lowest going to 5-10lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Btech-2.07 lakhs for first year.There are frequent scholarships provided for the students who are a part of the college.It requires your cgpa,and other qualifications to avail it.there are certain job roles and campus employments but none includes a stipend
Campus Life :
There are a lot of activities happening in the campus daily.Many organized by the different clubs such as NCC,NSS,Dance club etc.In addition to that we recently had Inter NIT held in our college in which different nits take part and play different sports against each other.The library here comprises of all the books one wants to prepare for an exam plus it has got some digital catalogs making it easy to navigate a book,issue it and return it back
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms here are decent.They have a single and a double occupancy (triple in rare cases).Rooms contains a fan, an led,a lan port that connects to the college internet.The bathrooms here are not very clean nor in a very poor condition.The meals provided may not taste like a 5 star restaurant but are enough to provide you with the daily nutritions and protein intake if taken in a well mannered way.the hostels charge over 15k a semester
Admission :
to enter NIT warangal you should get a decent rank in your jee mains or gate , I got 98.7 percentile in my jee mains and a rank of 16271 that momentarily caused me to opt for mechanical engineering at Nit Warangal.As we know students with reservation quota have an easy way for government colleges,so do they here as well.Get yourself prepared wellfor jee mains to get admitted to such a prestigious college.
