Infrastructure is sophisticated in the campus , we have big campus and pleasant air.
Course Curriculum and Real world problems and case studies through societies

Hostel facilities can be better as there are lot of students in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our Course Curriculum is perfectly scheduled and we have multi disciplinary. Projects and all subjects are involved to learn and compete with real world challenges. We have Curriculum and subjects similar to CSE, this influenced me to choose. We have 79 students in the class evaluation is done based on mid sem and end sem and class tests. The Exam difficulty is moderate and much similar to the class topics.

Class Size : 79Course Fees : INR 100 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We get good companies such as Goggle, Microsoft, Amazon and etc. we have still more good companies who come with internship oppurtunities. We have different types of roles in those companies such as developer, analyst , consultant and etc. we can have senior posts at start witnour POR in the college. Each role have their own projects and we have to do those projects to get those roles.

Placement Experience :

CDC conducts the placements and internships in IIT kharagpur. Mostly 200 + companies visit IIT for placements. Every student in their final year are eligible for campus placement. Highest package around 2 cr and average package is around 17 lakhs. Approx 70 percent student get placed. Those students who got Internships get PPOs in the companies and they get placed.I want to do job after my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Regarding fee structure we have 3 categories in fee, tution fee, Hostel fee and Institute fee. For categories like SC, and ST institute fee is 0. We have different scholarsgips and reiumbersement methods to pay fees. we can avail scholarships by showing parents income. MMS is a scholarship where institute fee gets exempted. We dont have campus employment, but we can get internships.

Campus Life :

We bave two fest called spring fest and kshitij we are biggest fests of IIT kharagpur. SF is our annual SOCULT fest and KTJ is our Annual Tech fest. We have big library with lots of resources digitally, we have big class rooms which sophisticated technologies. we have big ground for the sports and we have General championships and InterIIT competition in all areas. we have 24 socities and all societies run by student community

Admission :

I appeared for JEE advanced exam and then i qualified for every subject and i qualified the overall cut off . Cutoff is different for different category overall and subject wise. We apply through JOSAA and we fill the options in JOSAA, approx 2 lakh members appear for exam and 12k members get selected to IITs. There is benefit for Reservation we can get good seat if we score the cutoff for our category.

IIT kharagpur is the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am new to this curriculum but I am happy with my decision. Median package of this year is 21 lakhs in this course and faculty are too friendly. Exams are a little on the tougher side. We will have field trips for the research purpose overall it's a very underrated branch And we can try non core if we want to...since there is a lot of free time

Life in KGP

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is offered by CDC. After completing 2 years you get to sit in CDC interviews for internships, all the top companies for example google, BCG, McKinskey, and may others visits the college. And after 7th semesters you get to sit for placements. The highest packages goes around 2Cr. You opt for any profile SDE, data, consulting, product. I plan to get placed in product management after my degree.

Life At IISER Kolkata

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a 5 years course. Course are quiet tougher than other B.sc colleges but it will be very effective if you are going in research field. It will also introduce you to the basic of research and it will help you in future. A habit of reading research paper are vey common in this couse work and will help in your phd. But if you dont want to pursue in research then it will be less relevant to you.

An overview of IISER Kolkata: academics, research, hostel, mess, etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses at IISER Kolkata are not like usual curriculum in state or central Universities in India. IISER Kolkata 's academic curriculum is quite similar to that of US and European Universities. The focus of the curriculum is to teach and train us to make us researchers. So the courses are quite relevant if someone wants a career in research. Exams are very frequent in iiser Kolkata, apart from the mid semester and end semester exams, there are regular quizzes/class tests/surprisetests/assignments/grades tutorial problems every week.

IIT KHARGPUR- WORTH IT?

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was already very interested in economics. My college has a healthy student to teacher ratio. For every 1teacher there is 4 students. Almost of our faculties have phD and master's done. The faculty is very interactive and makes sure the concepts are clear The exams are fairly standard and the exam timings are optimal.
