Likes

The fests and societies are very enjoyable and fun
Seniors interaction with juniors in academic problems

Dislikes

The student organisation Gymkhana is like monopoly organisation
Campus doesn't support fests , they are run by students themselves

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics is intresting The curriculum includes breadth courses like humanity sciences which help a lot in real world scenario Some unnecessary courses should be removed and also the credits and contact hours are very high for certain branches Mid semester exams are held during mid semester and end semester at the end

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 114000 per year

Placement Experience :

Form 7th semester, students canbhave placements Companies like Nvidia , Accenture , Public sapient , Mathworks , etc visited and offers are made Highest package this time is 52 lpa and the average package is around 15 lpa Around 60 percent of students are placed which is comparatively less than previous years My plans are to pursue higher education in MBA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is around 114000 Scholarships like fee remission and merit based are available for all students Undertakings like fest management and societies are present for those who are interested in extra curricular activities.

Campus Life :

Annual tech fest is 'WISSENAIRE'. and cultural fest is ALMA FIESTA are held annually Sports fest ASHWAMEDHA is also conducted every year however it is not that significant Societies like CLIX , CINEWAVE , 4TH WALL , PANACEA , SOULS FOR SOLACE etc are very active and engaging

Hostel Facilities :

Each student is provided with single room and well maintained bathrooms and hostels which are new and clean Meals are avarage , not that great Hostel registration can be taken care of wardens and chief wardens as soon as we enter college

Hostel Fee : INR 36000 per year

Admission :

Jee mains followed by Jee advanced Application form and fee details can be found in the official campus website Exams are conducted two times per semester Exams are relatively tough Counseling service team can be used during admission

My perspective, through the University experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent but since the number of students enrolled in a course is relatively high, one really need to work hard if they aim at getting placed at a really good package. It is necessary to keep in head that since competition is high due to huge population of students, you need to consistently give your best and do extra courses side by side.

From the first year onwards you can get a paid internship. If you have skills you can get an internship by yourself. From the 5th-6th semester, you can get campus internships from companies like tech Mahindra, boutique many more. The highest package is 12lpa and the average package is 3lpa 70-80% of students are getting placements. Companies are like krazytech, Tech Mahindra, and many startup companies are visiting to our campus.

Why to choose KIIT among other same league colleges

Yes our college do gives campus placements. From the 7th semester students get campus placements. It is heard that more than 80% of the students get placement in our college from a branch which is pretty good. The average package is 4lpa where the highest is 30lpa. After the degree I will try to get a job in the placements and they continue my studies in masters.
