Remarks :

As an IIT, our college always stands among the Institutes in and around the world. As a second generation IIT, there a great room for development and IIT BBS is one of the fast growing IITS and 10 years down the line, it will be competitive with old IITS.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is good considering the fact that there are not enough faculty for Computer Science. Our weekly schedule is pretty chill and there are labs every week. Exam structure is pretty good with good and interesting questions.

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internship opportunities are good with highest of 43 LPA this year for placements and 1. 5 LPM for internships. Even our college provide internships for people outside our college. Placement percentage for CSE is 100% and for other branches it’s above 75%.

College Events :

Wissenaire- the techno management fest. Alma fiesta- socio cultural fest. E- Summit - annual entrepreneurial conclave. Wissenaire had a participation of almost 1000 this year with a footfall of almost 5000 people. Alma fiesta had 500 participants across India and a footfall of 4000.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

1. 4 Lakh per semester for OC and OBC. Full fee remission for SC and ST students. Along side this 14000 for mess, which is mandatory for all the students. Students can avail MCM scholarship based on their academics. For economical backward students there is a 2/3rd fee remission.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MCM Scholarship. Students can avail this scholarship based on their academics. Student’s are expected to have a GPA of above 7 in all the semesters and have no backlogs in all the semesters. Economically backward students are eligible for this scholarship.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are given utmost importance in our college, be it sports or cultural activities. Every year teams from different sports and activities are trained and sent to the prestigious INTER IIT Sports and Cultural Meets.

Hostel Facilities :

Boys hostel is well built with good infrastructure and single rooms and common washrooms. Mess is in the ground floor with hygienic utensils and environment. Washing machines are available every floor.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

AlumnI network is growing every year and is becoming stronger every year. Every year there will be seminars from alumnI where they will be answering the questions from the students. AlumnI keep sponsoring for different events of the institute.

Admission :

I’ve scored 2309 in JEE Advanced of 2017. I was interested in doing my Bachelors in Computer Science so I Choose this college. After the counseling, I got an admission in IIT Bhubaneswar. The opening rank for CSE was around 1600 back then and now it is 1200.

Faculty :

There are less number of faculty for Computer Science, but all the faculty are well qualified. Due to less number of faculty, there are less number if courses for CSE. But, faculty from old IITS keep coming to our college every year.

Placement Experience:

From the first year onwards you can get a paid internship. If you have skills you can get an internship by yourself. From the 5th-6th semester, you can get campus internships from companies like tech Mahindra, boutique many more. The highest package is 12lpa and the average package is 3lpa 70-80% of students are getting placements. Companies are like krazytech, Tech Mahindra, and many startup companies are visiting to our campus.

Why to choose KIIT among other same league colleges

Placement Experience:

Yes our college do gives campus placements. From the 7th semester students get campus placements. It is heard that more than 80% of the students get placement in our college from a branch which is pretty good. The average package is 4lpa where the highest is 30lpa. Placement Experience:
