Course Curriculum Overview :

The course of CS cyber security is one of the leading course and need of today's modern world. Cyber crime is increasing with each passing day so demand for such course will never go down. For real world application students are given practical knowledge with well maintained computer labs. Students are motivated by organising competitions like hackathon, Techfiest etc so that they work on innovating new ideas. Teaching methods are very practical. Every topic is taught keeping thought of future competitive exam. More time is given on teaching the skills be it coding or assignments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here the college fee differ for every new session. For the batch of 2023 the tuition fee for 1st semester is 56,000 and for 2 nd sem is 32,000 total fee for the first year is 88000. For second year it's 78000. Other details regarding fees can be taken from official website of cuj. For hostellers- The lodging fee for 1 year is 12000. The mess fee is 3000 for one month. College do not provide any scholarship. But the national scholarship forms or state government scholarships can be applied. The scope of employment in the college campus is less. But can get it in nearby town.

Campus Life :

The annual fest here is named as Udaan which held every year in month of january for all departments in common. The technical fests named Hackathon, Techfest, Engineer's day, Science day, Tech innovation day are organized in the working days of college and the participation is welcomed from the different departments also. The college has an availability of library which is well maintained with books of all type. And with increasing demand the books are also increased. The journals, research papers are also made available to read. The classrooms are well equipped with smartclass Or digital boards. Computer labs are there in every building. The sports are giver importance. The sports club deals with all the competition held every year and participants. Combatica fest from sports club is arranged every year.. As well as there is separate committee for e-sports club which organises the online games tournaments. Debate club, music club, dance club, AI clubs are the re.

Hostel Facilities :

Every room is 3 seater. Where each room is well maintained. Each girl is given a bed, separate study table and separate cupboard. The hostel is well maintained with generator for emergency situation. Washing machine, iron are the things provided from the college. Meal quality is good and menu is decided by students by discussion and mutual understanding. The registration for the hostel can be done by filling google form from the official website of cuj after getting selected to this college. The hostel are affordable as 12k is the lodging fee for 6 months and 3k mess fee per month. So on an all 5k per month. 3 k of mess fee include morning breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner as well. The hostels are been provided in the university campus which makes it more safer.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is that you have to crack JEE-mains exam and with counselling you can get admission to this college. For the residentials of Jammu the lateral entries are made available with certain criteria. The application form and every small details can be taken from the official website of cuj. This website is provided with some contact number to whom you can contact for further details. Here there is no reservation benefits as the admission is done on the basis of common rank list(crl). The exam level are from moderate to difficult. Where the question from basic are asked to make base strong whereas critical thinking questions are also involved. For odd semester the exam is held thrice. 2 minor exam and 1 major exam. For even semester the exam is held twice 1 mid term exam and 1 major exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is not same every year . I didn't get placement and almost majority students do not get placement of my batch in all streams it's also because of the recession going in our country. But the companies that come here took girls only their focus was to balance girls and boys ratio in their office so companies were taking girls only very few boys were placed . Less than 50% students were palced from my stream. Highest package was of 10 lakhs and 4 students were placed in that company with a contract of 5 years only others were placed at an average package of 5-6 lakhs

• B.e./B.Tech is one the most popular course, i prefer this course with an idea of securing well paid job after completion of this professional degree. Also i was good in mathematics and science from the childhood. • SSM College is a private university with multiple campuses in India. It is known for its large student population and expansive academic programs. However, specific data on the faculty-to-student ratio may vary across different campuses and departments within the university.It can contribute to a better learning experience and individualized support for students. • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. • Use multiple sources of data for each course. • Mid term exams were on time after completing 2 chapters from all subject. It is done before Major exams.It is easy to pass mid term exams as it is of 50 marks and pass marks is just 20
