Infrastructure like auditorium and lecture hall complex
Single room is given to everyone so it is highly appreciated

Mess food are unpredictable sometimes so good and sometimes not even eatable
Fests are not organised in that big manner altho agreeing that it is 2nd gen iit

Course Curriculum Overview :

Ece is probably the best branch I could say because of the large scale demand in core related to integrated circuits and electronics. I feel it's a safer branch compared to CSE as AI could possible take time to affect the electronics industry

Class Size : 54Course Fees : INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

On campus internship in 3rd year is not that good . After COVID it went downhill drastically only 20 got internship out of 500 on campus altho companies were good like nvidia. Ece got only 5 or 6 internship offers

Placement Experience :

After 3rd year various internship offer pre placement offer . It is mandatory to do internship in 3rd year be it on campus or off campus. After getting the degree I ll probably opt for non core. Highest package this year went to over 64 lakhs while median was about 17 lakhs

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure i feel is bit high compared to NITs but still much more affordable as it is run by government. Financial assistance is given to SCs/STs and OBCs and also to children who need financial assistance in case of any emergency

Campus Life :

There are 4 fests in our college..Alma fiesta as cultural fest wissenair as tech fest e summit and ashvamedha as sports fest. Library is open till evening while reading room is open all night during exams. There are various societies for various activities

Hostel Facilities :

Single room is allocated to everyone so privacy is there. Meal menu is good but taste isn't that good. The rent is quite low I would say. The hostel is inside the campus so it is isolated from the city which is good for providing a study environment

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Admission :

I gave jee mains to qualify for jee advance ..I scored 99.76 percentile in jee mains and AIR 3735 in jee advance. I prefered branch over college so I took iit bhubaneswar ece as the best option .

My perspective, through the University experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent but since the number of students enrolled in a course is relatively high, one really need to work hard if they aim at getting placed at a really good package. It is necessary to keep in head that since competition is high due to huge population of students, you need to consistently give your best and do extra courses side by side.

From the first year onwards you can get a paid internship. If you have skills you can get an internship by yourself. From the 5th-6th semester, you can get campus internships from companies like tech Mahindra, boutique many more. The highest package is 12lpa and the average package is 3lpa 70-80% of students are getting placements. Companies are like krazytech, Tech Mahindra, and many startup companies are visiting to our campus.

Yes our college do gives campus placements. From the 7th semester students get campus placements. It is heard that more than 80% of the students get placement in our college from a branch which is pretty good. The average package is 4lpa where the highest is 30lpa. After the degree I will try to get a job in the placements and they continue my studies in masters.
