Course Curriculum Overview :
curriculum is up to date as per the neeed of the hour along with that in the first year we will learn the basics of engineering as well in this course of integrated msc in mathematics . academically after completing the course one copt for phd degree in specified topics or subjects teaching methodology is good and class are hightech oriented.
Internships Opportunities :
opportunities to have internships in iits , mncs , and many more are available college also provide scholarship to students to learn as many things for extra boost . other private companies also provide internship opportunities , one can apply for those online .
Placement Experience :
from 7th semester one will be eligible for placements about 70 percemt of students aree getting placed while majority opt to go for higher studies average package vary as per the department , in mathematics department highest package is 27 lpa whereas lowest is 7lpa i would like to persue hugher education after completion of degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
tutuion fee may increase but once you take admission , the fees shown during admission will remain same for your whole curriculum, means fees may increase during 5 years but whatever fees you have shown during admission will ultimately payable by you . complete cost of my 5 years course with all expenditures may cross 7 lacs . for 5 years including books notebooks laptop and other expenses . scholarships are available by central level , state level , private scholarships , and alumni scholarships
Campus Life :
nitrutsav : the cultural fest of nit rourkela held in february , 3 days fest with lot of events like guest lectures , comedy shows, magic show, game events , treasure hunts , dj night , hustlemnania etc innovision : the technical fest of nit rourkela , similiar to nitrutsav , held in november , more technical oriented. cosmopolitan : the multiethnic fest of nit rourkela garden feast: garden feast of every hostel books in library are abundant to use. classrooms are hightech and meeting the present needs.
Hostel Facilities :
facilities in room: good quality tables and chairs per person windows for outer views good meal quality with pure veg garden green cafeteria facility one can register for hostel after admission process completion hostel is affordable as only 5000 per semester for room .
Admission :
one can get the admission in the desired courses of bachelors level by jee mains entrance examination . eligibility: intermediate application form , applicationn fee and dates are available on nitrkl.ac.in 50 percents of seats are reserved for home state students. exams are held in semester levels , each year 2 semester , 4 exams , 2 mid semesters and 2 end semesters .
