Course Curriculum Overview :

I like mathematics since my childhood so I wanted to take mathematics and computing. We have some assignments where our professors ask us to write general applications of that course. I feel like courses like real analysis is not needed for everyone only if you want to do research in maths it is important We do have exams twice in the semester and frequent quizes as well difficulty level lies between medium to hard

Class Size : 29Course Fees : INR 216000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There will be summer internships and long term internships.summer internshhips will be of maximum of three months. The duration of Long-term internships is of 6 months.We can do these internships in our 8th semester (applicable from BTECH batch 2021)

Placement Experience :

From 7th or 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements In 2023,Highest package offered was INR 60LPA an Average package offered was INR17.19LPA Percentage of students getting placements was 99%

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have to pay around INR 140000 per semester Whereas it includes mess fee, hostel fee, academic fee Mess fee is around INR15000-18000 per semester Hostel fee is around INR 20000 per semester Tution fees is around INR 100000 per semester

Campus Life :

Our annual fest is named as cultrang and tech fest is named as cepheus We do have lot of books and magazines in our Library Although our facilities and technological provisions within the classroom is not so good nor so bad Very less participation in sports and extracurricular activities There are many clubs although not all are not active

Hostel Facilities :

We can stay comfortably,there are no issues with the facilities provided in the hostel. The mess menu is good.There is a fixed mess menu with different varieties for a week The registration process for the hostel will be done when we admit into the college

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

The admission into IIT GOA will be done through JOSAA Counselling. To be eligible for this counselling one needs to qualify both JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED. JEE ADVANCE cutoff rank for IIT GOA varies annually.

Average CTC is about 11LPA. Highest is about 50LPA offered by google. Students are eligible for placements in their final year first semister (7th sem). Students can do 6 month internship in 8th sem and can get PPO. during the summer break students can also do a 2 month internship .

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Facts about NIT Goa to know

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after reaching in the last year that is 7th semester, various companies visit for placement, including Samsung, Adobe, Nvidia, etc. The average package lies around 12LPA and highest at 25LPA, and last year around 200 offers were given across all branches. For circuital branch the placement percentage is around 90+ and lower for non circuital branches. Many students opt for higher studies after completing the course

BITS Pilani - It's truly magic ?

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of my college is great. The complanies that recruit from my college are from tech, core and finance. My college is a Tier 1 college so the placements are also in the upper strata. The overall avg package of campus is around 15 lakhs and avg package of CS department reaches 30 lakhs. 90% of the batch gets placed and the rest of the students either go for higher studies or start their own startup.
