Entrance Preview :
The admission process is very simple. Find a faculty who is familiar in Operations Research and join as a student to persue the research program after the completion of the Master's Degree.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses for us is littlebit tough and the faculties are very friendly. In fact we have enjoyed a lot in learning each and every move we make. Such a freedom is given to us in the campus. They treats us like a friend and nowhere I found strict discipline. Several times we found learning by mistakes. While struggling someone helps.
Internships Opportunities :
Lot of companies come to our campus for placement which is only for the Bachelors and the Masters and not for the Research scholars.
College Events :
The Management festival is only for the Masters Degree in Management. Likewise Department festivals are held at the respective students with the Bachelors and Master's Degree level. Common festival held yearly once in which all the students of the College of Engineering, School of Architecture and Planning and Alagappa College of Technology and Madras Institute of Technology students all where participated. International conference of Stochastic Process and their applications held at College of Engineering, Department of Mathematics conducted in which we have participated and send our article for publications.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No Idea and schloarship/loan are not available for us.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good and seperate hostels for male research scholars. Computer lab is available for 24 hours. Tennies court is there and seperate ground for football and atheletics. In the hostel some time we are in debate on the political situations in the state as well as central in which some people are in favour of the government and some are against goverment and the talk goes upto 2 AM some times. If anybody sent a article and it was published means he should give us a party to others which is a common routine.
Hostel Facilities :
The food was Good. The hostel rooms are very comfortable and single rooms only. TV room is common for all and we have one reading hall in our hostel and parking facilities are also available.
Alumni/Alumna :
Enjoy while we are there in doing research after finishing we are back to academics and forget about the alumni activities.
Exam Structure :
Depends on the research requirement based.
Faculty :
The faculty's are very kind enough with adequate knowledge if they are young and if they are old they may have a wast experience in Academics and Administrative experience and lesser amount of experience on Research due to the fact that they spent much of
