Course Curriculum Overview :
I had chosen this course because it is mostly practical and theory oriented. And also it is easy to score good CGPA and get good placement. The staffs were also friendly and helps the students to get succeed in their career. The curriculum prepares the students by involving them into some practical situations, this helps the students to get knowledge about real world industrial problems.
Placement Experience :
The placement in the campus was very good. Each department package differs accordingly. In our department the maximum package is 19 lpa. Almost 90 percentage of students will be placed in good companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees for the students is very low compared to other private engineering colleges. The college charges 32000 per year for non-first graduate students and 18400 per year first graduate students and sc/st students. During the time of admission the students should pay admission fees along with caution deposit which is refundable. The college also has scholarships for candidates based on the community and their parents income level. The scholarship amount varies depends on their community.
Campus Life :
The college conducts department symposium in the odd semester, generally the festivals in the odd semester in less compared to even semester. The college conducts kurukshetra which will be conducted for 4 days . This event is probabilly conducted in March month. And the college also conducts Techofes during March month which will be held for 4 days. During the even semester the department will conduct one international symposium which will be held for 3 days. The above mentioned events were organized by students with the guidance of a staff's. For organising these events students creates seperate clubs for effective performance. This helps in improving team work and problem solving skills.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel life was very good. The management provides seperate blocks for UG and PG students. The hostel management charges 40000 per semester at the time of admission and this will be reduced in the upcoming semester based on the semester duration. The admission process is so easy and the hostel staffs will help in the admission process. Each room ib the hostel will be allocated with 4 students. The facility in the hostel is very good and safe. The food will be provided for hostel students on a specific time in different mess for different year students.
Admission :
The admission process was so simple for both regular and lateral entry students. The must attain certain cutoff to get admission in CEG. The diploma students can join as lateral entries and they too need certain percentage to get admission. Every department has a specific cut off percentage to join in them. The students can join through counciling process. The counciling process will held separately for regular and lateral entry students. The college fees will be reduced uf the student is a first graduate or belongs to sc/st community. Scholarships will be provided for students based on their parents income or through academic performance. The students should score more percentage because then only they can get admission in the department they want to study.
