Entrance Preview :
A Common Eligibility Test is conducted every year for admission to M.Phil./ Ph.D. programmes for the Bharathiar University Departments, Affiliated Colleges (Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur and Nilgiris Districts) of this University and Recognized Research Institutions. Application form, Instructions for Common Eligibility Test and any other resources like previous year sample papers are available on the college website and can be downloaded very easily.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Guest lectures, assignments, thesis, projects, researches, seminars, debates, live events, field visits etc are included in the curriculum and one can attend and finish them at their own pace. College provides all sort of updated facilities as well as resources to their students so that they can learn and grow and doesn't get any second thoughts or doubts on themselves or on the college about their worthiness.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is not required for this course, though I took and applied for an internship programme since I wanted to understand the working of a startup in detail, which would help me directly with my thesis. Apart from this, I was asked to prepare a project and a presentation based on the internship which came out to be very beneficial for my thesis, and I was able to gather and apply lot of insights in it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College has a lot of scholarship programmes available for students but are limited in number. Students are selected on the merit basis as well as first come first serve basis. You need to apply for scholarship programme simultaneously while filling the application form of the college so that they can assess your credibility and can offer you a scholarship, if they find you suitable.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni or senior students of the college were very helpful to me and with their immense help and understandings and experiences, I was able to perform very good in my thesis. They helped me a lot during my research and helped me gather the first hand information which was very very beneficial for me. I hope they continue to inspire and help more and more students like me. They have inspired me to be like one of them and help the upcoming students.
