Course Curriculum Overview :

Interested in Agricultural biotechnology Ratio is 2:5 High quality and experienced teacher with eduaction from top university of high QS ranking Fully.analytical, if study with intellect, surely pass

Class Size : 19Course Fees : INR 107000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There were plenty companies come every year for various roles every year that depends on the requirement of the company. For core, analysis, consultant, management, marketing manager and also for noncore the same

Placement Experience :

3rd sem onwards There are over 300 companies come and recruit thousands of students every year with good handsome salary package Highest package vary every year, most probably few crores and average is of 18LPA Definitely job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are higher in B.tech compared to MTech and PHD, as post graduation or PhD can have stipend and fellowship, respectively I got UGC based stipend of 12400 per month as GATE exam qualified, many branches have higher amount of CTC

Campus Life :

Tech fest and Annual fest are mostly conducted in the month of January There are plenty of books & journal available in the central library, departmental library and hostel library Classroom is of ample amount of chairs, benches, ligjt, AC, board, projector and screen Every extracurricular activities Plenty names

Hostel Facilities :

Room of 2 beded or 3beded with attached bathroom, chair, table, light, fan, cupboard, slab and balcony Meal is quite good Registration is simple, everything is mailed when registered for the course No rent available for convenient daily coming

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Admission :

Bachelor/ Master degree in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ other relevant discipline GATE exam with descent score Fee for General category was Rs. 1700 and for girls/category was Rs. 850

Placement Experience:

For master's, campus placement is less compared to bachelor's courses, Company visited less in numbers, but still, 30 - 40 percent of students get placed, some went for Ph.D. in IIT, and some got placed off campus. On-campus placement average package is around 4 lacs.

Remarks:

Before joining Mtech in Computer Science and Data Processing (Mathematics department) in IIT Kharagpur I completed M.Sc in Mathematics from IIT Madras. At that time wanted to go for industry jobs so I decided to pursue M.Tech course related to computer science. Specifically, I am interested in Machine learning and statistical data analysis. That time I had two options either IIT Madras (Mtech in Industrial mathematics and scientific computing) or IIT Kharagpur (Mtech in CSDP). I preferred IIT Kgp and joined it.

Entrance Preview:

I take WBJEE entrance exam for entrance in BE and gate for ME. I score 107 in WBJEE and 2047 in GATE . Jadavpur university(ju)is best institution in west bengal.

Placement Experience:

In JU placements was almost 100% in BE course on my electronics & telecom department 55 were placed out of 58. And some of them got 3 jobs in hand,some of them got 2 jobs.and in ME 17 are placed out of 23.companies are tcs, cts, ibm, infosys, ericsson, adobe, ibm r&d, wipro, capgemini etc.
