I like the big campus which include gymnasium the basketball court the sports complex the big Nalanda complex
I like the friendly environment in the college like everyone behaves all our friends there 18000 student in the campus

Dislikes

I don't like the hectic schedule of the classes as you don't get enough time for a self study
We hate the classes after the lunch cause within a one hour break we need to go from classes to hostel that eat bath then again come to the classes within time

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to study Environmental but its an mixed coarse for land to water solid to liquid, but I had a great interest in Water engineering. so I choosed this course. Moreover I can work on different Water treatment plants, geological survey, tiver basins, flood management. Faculties are highly qualified & everyone had an IIT background. Exams papers are too much conceptual & class should be strictly followed.

Class Size : 8Course Fees : INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Talking about the internship people can apply in CDC for their internship for they can I will the feature of a variety of companies they wish to walk on the companies will take the interview and they will select the candidates based on their merit student can also apply on their own faculties can also referred to their friendly companies and student gets a good amount of strip and if their working hard and projects are not conserve bring consultancy so they may involve in different work and it will make you to give up knowledge about how in field everything works

Placement Experience :

Since I am in my Mtech so from 2nd year that is the third semester during our project we can start applying in career development centre for our campus placements the various companies visit out campus every year with my offer and average package of 10 lpa to maybe 1 crore so basically the average pack is lies around 8 LP and highest package this year I can say it was one crore for year or for Anamika se percentage of student getting place on the type of batch so in an average 70% students are placed restor going in PSU after the degree I plan to go for a Consulting company if I get it from a college I'll try but I'll try in of Campus also

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees structure is 240000. Where I get a striped from ministry of human resource & development (MHRD) of 12500 per month. Students can apply for loan also and faculties help in finding paid internships which may help you to get a pre placement offer if you are lucky enough and can work hard. Fees hike is very rare.

Campus Life :

Social life in IIT is very good we have the annual fest of spring fest which will be conducted in the month of January there is another fest which is the Techfest of IIT Kharagpur which is known as Kshitij and the main thing what I going to say that the social life is very much interesting if you are involved in various types of extra curricular activities club activities moreover there is a huge library including some eliabilities also where you can access many papers generals talking about the classroom we can say that there are projector smart classes good centralised AC and much more

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities provided in the hostels are single room attached bathrooms balconys geyser water purifier social room gaming room room for a Music club then we get a beautiful mess very where we get four times meal which may include from chicken to face egg fries and much more and the other thing we got many safety features like fire protection heavy security cycle parking some local shop general shop for some purchases cycle stand cycle repair shop medical stores first aid many things

Hostel Fee : INR 33000 per year

Admission :

I qualified GATE exam after my B.Tech with a grade of 8.65. Councilling through COAP. After qualifying GATE where cutoff is 28 for general, I got 47.63 marks in 2022, applied for councilling & got admitted into School of Water Resources, IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

For master's, campus placement is less compared to bachelor's courses, Company visited less in numbers, but still, 30 - 40 percent of students get placed, some went for Ph.D. in IIT, and some got placed off campus. On-campus placement average package is around 4 lacs.

Remarks:

Before joining Mtech in Computer Science and Data Processing (Mathematics department) in IIT Kharagpur I completed M.Sc in Mathematics from IIT Madras. At that time wanted to go for industry jobs so I decided to pursue M.Tech course related to computer science. Specifically, I am interested in Machine learning and statistical data analysis. That time I had two options either IIT Madras (Mtech in Industrial mathematics and scientific computing) or IIT Kharagpur (Mtech in CSDP). I preferred IIT Kgp and joined it.

Entrance Preview:

I take WBJEE entrance exam for entrance in BE and gate for ME. I score 107 in WBJEE and 2047 in GATE . Jadavpur university(ju)is best institution in west bengal.

Placement Experience:

In JU placements was almost 100% in BE course on my electronics & telecom department 55 were placed out of 58. And some of them got 3 jobs in hand,some of them got 2 jobs.and in ME 17 are placed out of 23.companies are tcs, cts, ibm, infosys, ericsson, adobe, ibm r&d, wipro, capgemini etc.
