Hostels infrastructure could've been better ,

Course Curriculum Overview :

Energy engineering is a diverse course. It includes courses from mechanical, chemical and electrical engineering. The infrastructure is relatively newer and advanced. Exams are difficult but the courses can be passed if worked hard.

Class Size : 35Course Fees : INR 260000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1.3 Lakhs is the tution fee, 15k is the hostel and amenities fees and 22k is the mess fees per semester. Merit cum means scholarshipsbare provided by the institute which you can avail to discount yourself from tution fee.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is the best thing about IITB. Unlike other IITs, this college isn't in outskirts of city. It lies around the most happening areas of bombay. So you have a life outside campus. Inside you have some or the other amazing fests and events happening quite possibly every week.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are relatively very old. Rooms are small. It's a two per room accommodation. However hostels are CO-Ed. Meal quality is decent. Overnight canteens are present across all the hostels over the institute

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

JEE was the qualifying exam. Based on the rank i got the college and the branch. Later admission process is through JOSAA. The application form can be found anywhere on the web or Google or through NTA.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

Campus placement offered is good for courses surrounding IT domain. Computer and IT department get an average CTC of 10 lpa whereas ENTC dept has avg CTC of 6-7 lpa. The college will state 100% placement but it is applicable only for eligible candidates.
