IIIT Una is one of the 25 IIITs in India which is having national importance and is funded by the MHRD.Although it does not have its own campus but having great alumniWhich are presently working in many best MNCs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIIT Una follows the course Curriculum of some prestigious IITs and is really very updated and very helpful for the creative and innovatove minds of the students.Faculties are supportive and are always ready to provide their guidance to the students.They always try to show different creative sides to the students so that they can think of some innovations which do not exist now but probably may exist in future and can help in development of society.DR. Gurinderbir S. Grewal is one of the faculty in Electrical Engineering department who is supportive in every way he can and always motivated students to do some thing creative.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 720000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

No I have not opted for any internship till now.

Placement Experience :

Many companies visit the campus at the time of placements.Most of them recruit students in mass. Tech related companies provide the highest package.The average package around here is approx 7-8 lacs per annum and 15 lacs per annum is the highest.

College Events :

Due to not having the own campus colleges do not have any tech fest or any cultural event But it has its own sports meet which they held in NIT Hamirpur which was good and students enjoyed a lot.But at certain breaks or intervals institute always organise some activity for the students and on national events like independence day etc they always have some great celebration for all of the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I don't avail any scholarship but there are some basis of income and other regional criterias where student can apply.

Campus Life :

IIIT Una do not have its own campus and the classes are going in Transit campus-2 for the 2019 batch students and for other seniors the classes are going in NIT Hamirpur Well it do not have much facilities like playing ground or travelling services but then also the sports equipments,library,WiFi and the Labs are well and good and is appreciated.Specially the Labs they are very updated with new equipments and are really advanced.

Hostel Facilities :

IIIT Una have one boys for hostel and one hostel for girls. GH is inside the main academic building itself and boys hostel is near by it but not in the main academic building. GH has 3 rooms in which 3 Girls are sharing 1 room while in BH 1 room is being shared by 4-5 boys.Hostel rooms are alloted by the college itself when u became the part of the institute.

Hostel Fee : INR 51000 per year

So from 3rd semester your internship interviews starts and your third semester is fully based on your internship you have to just submit your internship report and you will graded on the basis of your internship report for the third semester . And if you are lucky you can get a free placement offer from the company in which you are doing your internship. And from the starting of 4th semester the placement interview starts. Average package for MBA student is around 6 lacs and the last year placement record is 100% placement

The curriculum is quite good . It is very relevant like we have course on thermodynamics, rigid body mechanics which is useful in mechanical engineering and there are also robotics course for all branches so that every one can know the basics of robotics . There are coding courses for everyone so that everyone can know tech field Also there are extra curricular courses which are very relevant to our daily life like Language speaking courses like french , German , english . Also our college has started have semester exchange facility available to foreign colleges.
