Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually, Biosciences and Bioengineering is basically a research-oriented course which is very interesting and I was very interested in the research field science my childhood. So in our batch, the boys vs girls ratio is quite low like 80 boys and 20 girls. Faculties are really very good and cooperative they understand students and their concerns. Talking about semesters if you're regular with your studies then it is not difficult for you to pass with good grades.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided by many MNCs like Microsoft, Google, and many more. They will be testing you with the skills and abilities you developed over the course of 3-4 years. They will also be seeing your overall academic performance and the projects you have taken part in.

Placement Experience :

In the 7th or 8th semester students are eligible for their placements and in the 6th semester, they are eligible for internships. Nearly all MMCs visit the campus or on-campus placement and 83% of students overall. And many students don't sit for placements because they want to pursue Higher studies. Ad the lowest offers package is around 7-8 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 200000. For the students who are not economically in good condition, basically based on their families yearly income fee waiver is provided. Scholarships are also provided on the basis of your overall performance.

Campus Life :

Alcheringa is the annual cultural fest of IITG, it is spread over3 days and 4 nights. It is held at the end week of January. Techniche is the technical fest it is held around the month of September. You can find nearly all the relevant books in the library and you can even issue the books through proper procedure. The classrooms are loaded with all advanced facilities including projects ACs furniture and whatnot. There are soo many clubs all around the campus run by students and also the Gymkhana sports area where you find nearly all the games.

Hostel Facilities :

There are around 14 hostels on the campus of IIT Guwahati. And all of them have something unique about them. Mess food is really tasty and the menu is also good you will definitely going to love it. The registration process was not very time-consuming it is an easy process where you have to fill out a registration form and give the proof of fee you paid and your Adhaar card and you will be allotted a room. You will be provided an almirah and some shelves on the wall and a bed and a table and a chair for 1st and 2nd-year girls there are only double occupancy rooms available.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

You need to clear the Jee mains and Jee Advanced and based on rank, we will be allotted the college during JOSAA counseling. Application forms are released by the NTA and it is a conducting body for JEE mains but for advanced it is JAB and there is a Specific IIT among the top 7 IITs that organize the JEE advanced. We as well get reservation benefits for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and especially the female quota which is 20% in every category. So the admission process is quite smooth after you get selected.

Crisp college experience

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college is quite decent . Students are eligible to sit for placements at the start of 4th year The average placement percentage was 90 percent last year with max package of 52lpa and average of 16lpa (for cs) .Among core branches , the mech department is quite good offers good packages and also have great faculties .

Faculty members are the best part of the college.

Placement Experience:

Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vodafone, Jio etc. Our college provides better placements compared to other private colleges.

I've been enthusiastic about exploring more about software and programming which influenced me to choose the course of Computer Science Engineering. With further development of artificial intelligence, it opens up better learning and job opportunities for students. In my university, computer science is taught by experienced teachers and faculty but it would be better if they were more inclusive of certain topics which are extremely important for the students and raising the level of teaching including practical learning and understanding and also examining the student's capability is one of the aspects to be included.
