Course Curriculum Overview :

Case-based pedagogy is followed in class. 284 students and 40+ faculties for comprehensive learning. Faculties are PHd from top tier MBA colleges and most of them also have industry experience as well. Exams last for a week at Max and are relatively easier to pass as the marks are made of different components.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered in diverse segments such as IT, BFSI and Marketing. Sales roles are offered too but no one is sent to 0 stipend roles. Additionally, the avg stipend is 70k for two months and roles are quite good.

Placement Experience :

100% of students are placed and most of them are in their preferred roles. Additionally, the average package is almost comparable to the. Fees. Also, the profile and resume of the student matter the most as also grades in MBA

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees are quite high but the case remains the same for all MBA programs. As compared to non-IIMs of the same tier the fees are still lesser. Top 7 students of the. Batch gets a scholarship from the. College. It amounts to a waiver of tuition fees for the whole academic year.

Campus Life :

There are 20+ clubs committees and cells. There is ample opportunity to socialise and network. There are good sports facilities as well. They are maintained by the student-run Sports Committee. Other facilities are also maintained by student run bodies.

Hostel Facilities :

The room are large and quite airy. Additionally, we are provided with basic amenities and the electricity charges are included in the fees. The food served by college is good but is costly as compared to other IIMs. When you convert the college you are allotted a room once you arrive in campus.

Admission :

The entrance exam for qualifying for the college is Common Admission Test. The cut-offs are released and students start receiving interview invites after 2 weeks of results. Some colleges have a Writing test too but others mainly focus on interviews. The interviews last for around 15-30 minutes depending on the college. CAT has an application fee of around 2k for the General category. Additionally, IIM Amritsar and IIM Rohtak charge extra for filling out the forms. Non IIMs too charge extra and the rates are in the range of 2000 rupees. Other IIMs don't charge any and directly send interview invites to be held online.

Interview Experience :

I had to face an interview for the admission. The interview lasted for 30 minutes and was very comprehensive from news to my academics. It also involved stock market performance. I prepared by going through different experiences of past interviews, going through my job role. And the day to day happenings.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from semester 3rd and the also get internship after 2nd semester. Placement rate is quite impressive as we look for the fee. In short more than 75% of the students will get placed and remaining will get offers as well but they don't join. My plan after MBA is be a good manager at some biggest company.

Placement Experience:

Final Placement also starts from August along with the Summer internships, Usually till February Most of the students get placed, but during our time placements was bit challenging due to market conditions. everyone does not get placed some opt out and those who did not get placed have to search by their own. Few students from my batch are still yet to be placed, Placements committee is bringing companies but those companies are not good or paying much lesser. In my opinion Placement Process should be done by Management or any Agency, Students should not be involved in the Placements role. When students are involved for placements and they have been provided with so much control and power they misuses it. The Placement Committee run by students does not work with transparency lot of misuse of power and control is being done by those students.

Placement Experience:

I already got placement in the final year of B.Tech from the same campus in a Noida-based company but want to pursue MBA first. It all depends upon the capabilities of a student to get a placement from a campus drive, college provides a good number of opportunities regarding the same. In my batch, all the eligible candidates got placed in companies either from campus placement or direct interviews. After completing my MBA degree, I will try for MNCs related to the semiconductor industry.

Remarks:

Our college is a very good college as compared to all the other MBA colleges in the city. The main advantage of the college is the shorter MBA course which is seldom available for the students seeking an MBA.
