Remarks :
Complete written application including a statement of purpose and other questions. GMAT 730+ considered, and then PI. Firstly shortlisted based on GMAT scores, work experience, and education. Then considered for PI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was at par with any other IVY league school- all the curriculum derived from actual case studies which are taught in most prestigious institutions. The facultytop-notchotch, with visiting faculty teaching internationally in many top schools.
Placement Experience :
After the core terms, the student is available to sit for placements. The number of companies is more than 1000 and offers more than 1800. The lowest package is 25L and the highest is 80L, but some may get even higher for moving abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
One of the most expensive MBAs in India costs around INR 40 lakhs. Fees hike is usually 2 lakhs per year. You will incur another 4 lakhs in other expenses. Scholarship opportunities are dim, but school is now starting to pay attention to that aspect
Campus Life :
One of the best Campus experiences in India. Infrastructure is really good, the college supports student initiatives and activities. Since I was part of the Student life counselor, I organized parties and cultural and social events throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities :
All the facilities are provided. One of the best experiences at ISB is housekeeping. They become family as the year progresses. The program is completely residential and you can't opt out of campus accommodation. The cost is approximately 2-2.5 lakhs for a year.
Interview Experience :
The written test was GMAT- more or less standard. For PI- it was a holistic discussion of experience, and how I would leverage the MBA degree to connect the dots and achieve career goals. The extracurriculars were also discussed in depth.
