Course Curriculum Overview :

Nep is being implemented which focuses on the practical aspects.Syllabus is according to the changing needs and according to the field of study also various software are being taught like SPSS,gretl, excel,R studio, etc,.Ppt are being prepared and delivered by the teachers to students to make lectures interactive.

Internships Opportunities :

I did my internship at Niit limited gurgaon. Campus also provide internship to the students. Also dissertation has been included in the curriculum which means a research project is being assigned to the students to improve their knowledge.

Placement Experience :

Basically the campus placement are there but the more scope is for btech and marketing background here. My future plans are to go for off campus placement as I want to do job in Accounts Payable in a good company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They provide Scholarship to SC students through BR Ambedkar scholarship and also to other students in form of poor aid fund. The fee structure of my course is 85000 approx in idd semester and 56000 approx in even semester.

Campus Life :

Diversity and inclusivity: Campuses foster diverse communities, promoting cultural exchange and understanding. 2. Friendships and networking: Students form lifelong connections with peers, professors, and alumni. 3. Social events: Concerts, festivals, and cultural events enrich campus life. 4. Support systems: Counseling services, mentorship programs, and student organizations provide emotional support.

Admission :

It's a government University so it's degree holds a great value.Second thing fee of the course is reasonable,Staff and faculty is also excellent,Study environment is also best here. Also the various cultural activities are being held here that was the reason I choose this university.

Faculty :

Faculty members are very good. They are having experience of over 30+years when comes to senior professor and other faculty members are also very helping in nature.they always guide us regarding our career and take extra lectures also provide full support and notes and are very cooperative.

Night Life :

The nightlife around Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in Amritsar is pretty lively, thanks to its location near the city center. Since the campus is about 8 km from Amritsar, students can easily access various attractions and activities in the city. On-Campus Life- Inside the campus, you'll find a range of amenities, including a cafeteria serving hygienic and nutritious food, a gym, sports facilities, and a modern auditorium. The university also hosts cultural events and festivals, which add to the vibrant atmosphere. Nearby Attractions- In the surrounding area, students can explore: - Eating Joints: plenty of restaurants, cafes, and food stalls serving delicious Punjabi cuisine - Shopping Hubs: markets like Lawrence Road and Mall Road offer a range of shopping options - Historical Landmarks: the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and other historical sites are just a short drive away. I love the night life of my campus it's the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum is relevant to my studies and it also influence my decisions. Our practical study gives us real life instance to take decisions effectively. Areas of improvement includes some mentors who only focus on theory based study.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from semester 3rd and the also get internship after 2nd semester. Placement rate is quite impressive as we look for the fee. In short more than 75% of the students will get placed and remaining will get offers as well but they don't join. My plan after MBA is be a good manager at some biggest company.

Our college is good for placements. Last year highest package was 14 lakh per annum. It also provide internship opportunity. One can also start his own startup with the help of college. Most of the students are placed. Many companies including Deloitte, fedral Bank etc. visit here. I also want to get placed.

Placement Experience:

Final Placement also starts from August along with the Summer internships, Usually till February Most of the students get placed, but during our time placements was bit challenging due to market conditions. everyone does not get placed some opt out and those who did not get placed have to search by their own. Few students from my batch are still yet to be placed, Placements committee is bringing companies but those companies are not good or paying much lesser. In my opinion Placement Process should be done by Management or any Agency, Students should not be involved in the Placements role. When students are involved for placements and they have been provided with so much control and power they misuses it. The Placement Committee run by students does not work with transparency lot of misuse of power and control is being done by those students.

Placement Experience:

I already got placement in the final year of B.Tech from the same campus in a Noida-based company but want to pursue MBA first. It all depends upon the capabilities of a student to get a placement from a campus drive, college provides a good number of opportunities regarding the same. In my batch, all the eligible candidates got placed in companies either from campus placement or direct interviews. After completing my MBA degree, I will try for MNCs related to the semiconductor industry.

Placement Experience:

After the core terms, the student is available to sit for placements. The number of companies is more than 1000 and offers more than 1800. The lowest package is 25L and the highest is 80L, but some may get even higher for moving abroad.

Remarks:

Our college is a very good college as compared to all the other MBA colleges in the city. The main advantage of the college is the shorter MBA course which is seldom available for the students seeking an MBA.
