Remarks :
The eligibility for the MS course from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras is about having above 70% marks in your graduation of B.Tech or B.E to get selected here and the students also have to clear the entrance exam for getting admission in IITM with tough competition. They don't think the college needs any type of improvement in their admission procedure because an entrance competition makes a student perfect and helps them to know the value of hard work.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the MS course from the Indian institute of technology Madras with a specialization in Mechanical engineering because I am also a student of mechanical engineering in my bachelor of technology. The faculty member available in this college are very-very highly qualified and well knowledged and the ratio is about 180 teachers. The College exams are following the semester exams pattern in which the students have to give the exams every semester to get promoted to the next sem and it is medium level hard to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, the college also provides the students with an Internship program in which students can take part and get selected through the interview round and they can learn and grasp knowledge, and experience exposure from that internship for their upcoming placement sessions. The Main companies in which internships are offered are Mahindra, Hyundai, etc. The students also get a project work from the college in the second last semester where they have to make a model car in which they have to give a presentation on it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the IIT Madras are not so much high it is very very affordable. The fees and policy of this college are not quite acceptable for all those students who want to get study in this college the fees are low it is a medium budget ranged fees for every student to get admission here. The student also has the chance to get a scholarship given by the Central Government and that scholarship provides you financial help to complete their graduation. The Scholarship is mostly provided to those students who are from the EWS category to help them to afford their expenses.
Campus Life :
The college Library has all types of books available for the course a student is required to study. The college mostly organizers the annual fest, freshers party, and farewell party to encouragement the students in their new life of college start. The college also organized many types of sports and extracurricular activities on campus so that the students can be physically active and work on their sports activities. They also organize types of social clubs just as cultural clubs, sports clubs, dance clubs, etc. I learned so many skills from the college premises which focus on our overall development.
