- The college has a very good academic standard and the real world example oriented assignments and exams made the learning interesting
- College infrastructure and the value given to each student is very nice
Dislikes
- once semester starts the three and half months will be full hectic
- Assignments are good sometimes it will take time
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses are designed in a way that is on par with the new advancements happening in the outside world; the assignments are real-world applications and give the confidence to solve new problems. Exams and assignments will all be weighted equally so that continuous evaluation is taken care of.
Internships Opportunities :
Training and placement cell will bring companies for all pre final year students, and throughout the year there will be number of different internships opportunities available for the students which will be shared by incubation center, research park of IITM and etc., for all the students in the campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee will be around 1.5L, which includes the hostel and mess fee. In addition, students are allowed to do the HTTA, which allows them to get 12,400 monthly, and for that, students need to work 8 hours a week as a teaching assistant.
Campus Life :
There are so many fests happening throughout the year, and in January, we have Saastra and Saarang, two of the prominent fests, and both attract a huge crowd. The library has all kinds of books. If one can't find them can request so, one can request them, and with Insti access, one can download and access top journals for free. Classrooms are equipped with high tech for a modern teaching experience.
Admission :
You can get through Gate or Through IIT. Gate cutoffs can be found on the MTech admission page of IITM; for the IIT, they can get into Mtechs with the same specialization that they did in their undergraduate studies, and for that, they need to have >= 8.0 CGPA in UG.
Faculty :
For MTechs, the faculty-to-student ratio is nearly 1:3 approx, so we have a pretty great number of faculties. All the faculty members are exceptionally good in their field of work, and their approach to problems is great. The faculty is very easily approachable for the students in mentoring and clearing doubts. we have weekly interactions with faculties and will discuss about it.
