Remarks :
Eligibility is JEE Mains(2 exams, best is considered). After qualifying for mains then, JEE Advanced exam. NTA website, exam in the month of Jan, April, and July. Reservation on categories such as obc, sc, St as well as on ews. The admission process is very smooth and easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose it because I have an interest in my branch and due to better future scope. Professors are teaching only one class over the whole semester. Highly qualified profs from foreign universities. Short quizzes are very often within a day or two, and two major exams mid-sem and end-sem in one semester. Exams and quizzes are very challenging.
Internships Opportunities :
Almost all big companies visit the campus for internships. Average stipend depends on the company but in the tech sectors it's around 70-80k per month. Yes , you have to very proficient in the sector you have applied for the internship because there is a lot of competition among the students.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placement from the starting of seventh semester.also there are lot more pre-placements offers in the third year also. Almost all companies visit the campus for recruitment. Highest package is from CS department of about 2.5 crores and median is around 18 lpa. Almost 95% students get placed on an average in a particular year. My plan is to look for placement or maybe go for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost to study is cheaper than other colleges and relevant to the infrastructures and facilities provided. A lot of scholarship opportunities are there such as MCM and fee remission types. Special categories such as sc, and st are provided a lot more benefits. A lot of internship opportunities and a good stipend too.
Campus Life :
Techfest and Mood Indigo are two major fests held generally in winters. Lot of books about 4-5 lakhs in Library. Lot more extracurricular activities are also there and a great support from the institute as well. Almost all cultural clubs ,sports club are run and managed by students.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are quite good for students. Double-sharing rooms are allotted till the third year, some hostels are quite old where it lacks some facilities compared to other hostels. Meal quality is quite good in almost all hostels. Same-branch students are often put near you for better communication.
