Remarks :

For taking admission to NMIMS, one needs to give NPAT entrance test. Then according to the merit, seats are given. Like we had counseling in Mumbai. For Branch, you get options according to your merit. There are branches like CE, IT, Mechatronics.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty members are good. There are 2 Mid Term Tests(MTT) in a semester. There is one term-end per semester i.e 2 term ends in a year. If you are well prepared and had referred to previous year papers, you get good practice.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 317000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is TIP(Training and Internship Program) after Semester 6. Students do internships in the summer holidays after Semester 6. There are various portals like Internshala where one can apply for internships whether it is technical or others.

Placement Experience :

Campus Placement starts from the 7th Semester(4th Year). Various MNC's like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, ZS Associates, Quantiphi, etc come for the campus placement process. There are various rounds as per the company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure(1st year) is as follows: Academic Fees-170,000 Hostel Fees-140,000 There is no scholarship scheme. There are Campus placements every year for the final year batch. MNC's like Infosys, ZS Associates, Quantiphi come for recruitment.

Campus Life :

There is a technical fest called AMBIORA, a cultural fest called PROTSAHAN, and a spots event called FLAVIUM. The library has all academic-related books as well as research papers. There are many clubs in the college like the Dance club, Photographer club, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is very good and fascinating. There are 4 students allocated in a room. Hostel and mess ate different for boys and girls. There is a different hostel for 1st-year students in order to avoid ragging. Mess food is delicious. There is a canteen as well.

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.
