Remarks :
First of all getting admission in Computer or I.T branch has become a little tougher in good colleges, so you have to score a good score in the MHT-CET examination you should have a percentile above 80 to secure admission in this college. You should have passed 10+2 and given the MHT-CET examination to be eligible for this course. All the application forms and rounds are conducted by the CET cell and are updated on the MHT-CET website. You can avail of category and reservation benefits in the college by showing your caste validity certificate. The admission process conducted by the CET cell and the respective college is very smooth and easy. This would be a good college for you if you want to seek admission for computer engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I had an interest in the computer field and the future and scope for this course are tremendous and huge, you can choose to do a variety of government and private jobs after completing this course. The faculty: student ratio is quite good and balanced, all the faculties teachers are highly qualified like some of them have done Ph.D., doctorate, and masters. The term exams are preplanned and are taken timely, they are not so easy and not so difficult to pass, but one needs a good study to score good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
Great internship opportunities are provided by the college to the students. Many big companies like TCS, Accenture etc. give internship opportunities to the students. For securing good internship oppoutunities you should have a good resume and you should have done good projects.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for this course are 1,20,000, but you can avail category and reservation benefits and scholarship/freeship in the fee. The fee decreases year by year while your graduation, normally it does not hike. The college provides good placements and campus drives.
Campus Life :
There are cultural and tech fest conducted by the college yearly, we have the cultural fest named Sinhgad Karandak and tech fest named Techtonic. There is a library where many books and journals are available for study to the students. The classrooms are huge and smart with modern equipment. With studies, there are extra curriculum activities too like sports fest and all other. Our college research club group is run by our senior students and alumni for the junior students.
