Remarks :

The admission process to any IIT college is through Jee mains and advanced. I appeared for jee main and advanced 2021 and got 98 percentile in mains and 7048 ranks in jee advanced and cleared the cutoff to get admission here. You can apply cor jee main from the nta.nic.in website. I had reservation about gen-ews so I got Engineering design at the rank of 7048 only. The process of admission was overall smooth and does not need any other improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is so nice and lite. Everything here is well structured. The faculty-student ratio is also high. You get time in this course to explore other fields also. So the course is obviously not hectic in my opinion. Faculties are from IITs and also from international colleges. They have done phD. Term exams are held monthly here. It's a little difficult to score high in these exams.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Big MNCs come from all across the world to hire interns here. Stipends are also high and sometimes more than your annual package during placement. They also provide PPO if they like the quality of your work during your internship.

Placement Experience :

Placement stats is like around 90%. The average salary if 25 LPA. The highest salary is 2 crores LPA. The minimum salary is 10Lpa. The campus provides placement and internship with both and the rate of selection is very high.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For me, the complete tuition fee of 1 lakh per semester was waived. It is a kind of scholarship that is given to you if your family income is less than 1 LPA or you belong to sc/st. I didn't get any job here and also you won't have enough time to do so.

Campus Life :

Campus life is the most memorable life of a person. IITM makes it more memorable by adding clubs as an ingredient. There are a lot of clubs in iitm. Every club has their own profile and project which are completely different from each other. There's also a library for us which is open 18 hrs daily and free to everyone. There's a sports club also here for all types of sports. The best social page of iitm is saarang.iitm on instagram. Must check.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is very cool here. We all are allotted single rooms after 1st year. There are friends from your own department as your neighbour. You can visit their room in case you have any doubts. Also, it helps while you are working on a group course project. Many messes are here based on different regions of India since people from all states are here. Food quality is way too better than in other hostels. Everyone is allotted rooms in the hostel so you need not go for pg.

The average package of the university is 12 LPA. Nd the highest package provided in the previous year was 50 LPA. Almost 90% of students are placed during the campus placements. So no worries about the campus placements.

Remarks:
