Remarks :

First of all,to get admission in NIT Trichy you need to score well in jee mains.Jee mains examination is conducted every year by NTA.when the results are out you go through josaa councelling and accordingly your rank in jee mains you get admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had a good interest in civil engineering, that's why I chose this course.Also civil engineering gives you a lot of opportunities in government field,ESE,and PSUs.The college also mattered a lot as it is one the best colleges of India and it gives world class exposure and a lot of opportunities to interact with top companies.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships at college is also very nice. Students start getting internship opportunities from second semester onwards.Tber are two types of internships,first internal which you can avail from second semester and second, external that you can avail from 2nd year.

Placement Experience :

Placements at NIT TRICHY is best among Indian institutes far better than most of the IITs.For the consecutive 3 years students of CS and ECE are placed 100 percent.Civil placement stats is a little bit low but far better because civil students prefer higher studies and go towards government vacancies and PSUs rather than placement.A lot of companies visit the campus like Google, Microsoft, Samsung,Tata,L and T etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee hike is not that much here.General category students need to pay the complete fee.OBC students are given two third wavier on tuition fee under income of 5 lakhs.SC St are given full wavier on tuition fees. Also a lot of internal scholarship are there in the college which you can see on nitt.edu website.

Campus Life :

College life at NIT Trichy is just amazing.The campus is ragging free.seniors behaves like elder brothers.Time to time fests are organised in the campus.Some Major fests are Aaveg, Pragyan,festember, Nittfest.Sports is also very much supported in college.A top class gym is also there which provides a lot of facilities at no cost.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is very nice.In first year you need to share your room with 3 partners.The hostel fee for a semester is 11000 INR.Laundery service is inclusive.students are allowed to go outside the hostel and campus with prior permission of warden and parents.Also a guest house is there for the accomodation of families when they visit you in college.

The average package of the university is 12 LPA. Nd the highest package provided in the previous year was 50 LPA. Almost 90% of students are placed during the campus placements. So no worries about the campus placements.
