Remarks :

The eligibility is that you should have passed class 12 in PCM with more than 75 Percent marks. Yes you will have to give 2 entrance Exams to get into IITR first one is JEE MAIN and after clearing that you will have to go for JEE ADVANCED. The application forms of jee main can be found on the NTA website whereas the application form of JEE Advanced can be found on the official website of IITKGP. Reservations are available for certain castes and creed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My childhood dream was to work as an Engineer at Google which is why I decided to choose Computer Science Engineering Course. The Course is of 4 years / 8 Semesters. The teachers and students Ratio here is 1:50. and the teachers teaching here are highly qualified almost every teacher is a PhD holder in one or more Subjects of study The exams are conducted twice a year and the difficulty is moderate.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 134000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As with any Other A1 grade institutions (IIT, BITS etc), The fees of IIT Roorkee is also above average. The total fees for completing this 4 year Btech course will be around rupees 6 Lakh. The fees didn't hike from the last few years as per the trends. If you need financial assistance, Then there are various types of Scholarships and Schemes available either by the Government or some Private Organizations. Yes, it is highly likely to get a good job on campus.

Campus Life :

The campus of IIT Roorkee is one of the largest campuses in all the IITs and NITs. The campus is huge with green lush grass spreading over 50 acres of land. The Library in the college is Decent with World Class facilities available and the stock of Books is also amazing. Most of the Students are involved in at least one of the Sports and played it to various State and National level Games & Tournaments.

We are eligible for internships after 1 year of college teachers send the links in our groups to fill it and do it campus placement are good. For on campus placement we have to be above 8 cgpa in our college as I will apply off campus because their are much better options in it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from middle class family my jee score was 90.76 so I do not get a good college and according to my 12th marks I was getting good scholarship in college that is why I joined this college. The curriculum is very Bad you have to study with yourself . College needs to take review from students and needs to change the teachers. Exams are easy if student prepare before 1 week of exam he can also able to score good marks.

All the pre-final year students are eligible for the placement but the student should not have more than one active backlog. The college usually offers a good placement with a good starting package for freshers.
