Remarks :

IIT Guwahati is among the top ten best engineering colleges in India and I also wanted to be part of such a prestigious college and wanted to complete my engineering college from the top ten universities of India so I also applied for IIT Hyderabad, IIT Madras along with IIT IIT Guwahati but I got selected in IIT Guwahati. I appeared for JOSAAc counselling after clearing JEE and secured the seat in IIT Guwahati.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college is very good and follows all the latest industry regulations and norms. The curriculum helps us to understand all the concepts and the topics very deeply and the curriculum is a little lengthy probably because the curriculum is flexible and keep on updating as per the industrial changes. The faculty of the college is also very good and the faculty are highly professional. 95% of faculty have completed their PhD degree. The faculty research work is also published in many international journals and they asl have been awarded for it. The faculty teaching methods are very simple and very interactive.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 218000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship of the college is compulsory if we want to take part in the college placement drive. 65+ companies visit our campus during the college summer internship program. The internship is paid and the average internship stipend is around 60k.

Placement Experience :

The college placement quality no dounbt are best in class. The college manages to reach a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee members are highly experienced and they guide us in all the placement rounds and steps. With the help of the placement committee, the highest offer of college is around 2.5 CPA and the average salary offer s around 25 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides scholarships as per the MHRD guidelines. The scholarships on the basis of merit and SC/ST scholarship is also availn][ble. The state and central funded scholarships program are also available. some of the scholarship-s schemes are Institute Merit Scholarship (IMS), Merit-cum-means Scholarships, IWAB Scholarship, SC/ST Scholarship.

Campus Life :

The college campus life is amazing I have spent one of the best moments of my life in the college. The college classrooms are designed in such a way that the last bencher can properly listen to the teacher's voice and the board is also properly visible. The college library is one of the biggest USPs because we can find all types of books in the college library and the college library also has many international journals that are very helpful for us in our research activity.

Hostel Facilities :

The college hostels names are Manas, Dihing, Kapili, Siang, Kameng, Barak, Subansiri, Umiam, Dibang, Brahmaputra, Dhansiri, Lohit, and Disang. The hostel has all kinds of facilities. The hostel rooms are fully furnished and properly designed. The hostel mess food quality is very good. The wardens are highly professional and very well trained. The bathrooms of the hostel are cleaned on regular basis.

Crisp college experience

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college is quite decent . Students are eligible to sit for placements at the start of 4th year The average placement percentage was 90 percent last year with max package of 52lpa and average of 16lpa (for cs) .Among core branches , the mech department is quite good offers good packages and also have great faculties .

Faculty members are the best part of the college.

Placement Experience:

Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vodafone, Jio etc. Our college provides better placements compared to other private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've been enthusiastic about exploring more about software and programming which influenced me to choose the course of Computer Science Engineering. With further development of artificial intelligence, it opens up better learning and job opportunities for students. In my university, computer science is taught by experienced teachers and faculty but it would be better if they were more inclusive of certain topics which are extremely important for the students and raising the level of teaching including practical learning and understanding and also examining the student's capability is one of the aspects to be included.
