Remarks :

I was the first girl in my whole family to successfully complete my engineering degree and to make a successful career in engineering. All thanks to IIT BHU the college provides a very good and healthy environment for studies and the college is ranked among the top engineering college of India. After clearing my GATE when the cutoff list of the college was out I was informed by my friends that my marks meet the cutoff standards so I applied for admission and I was invited to GD and PI round after clearing those rounds too I was allowed admission in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college is very interactive and the college also provides an ample environment for studies. The curriculum completely focuses on the importance of coding and computer algorithms. the faculty of the college is also very cooperative and helpful. They guide us during the assignments and project work. The faculty not only completely focuses on academic performance but also help us in developing our personality. The faculty also help us to understand all the computer and technological concepts in an easy way.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is not only mandatory but we also have to submit and written assignment after completing the internship. The internship at the college helps us to add professional experience before appearing in the placement drive. The average stipend for an internship was 65k.

Placement Experience :

The college not only provides a very good education experience but also provides very good placement packages. The college is able to maintain a record of 100% placement every year. The placement standards of the college are very high and the highest placement offer of the college was around 58 LPA and the average placement offer was 20 LPA. UBER, UiPath, Microsoft, Intel, Master Card, Amazon, Walmart are some of the top recruiters of the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides scholarships through various schemes like Rhodes Scholarships, Japanese Government Scholarship Programme for UG, Japanese Government Scholarship Program for Research, Chinese Govt. Scholarship, Korean Govt. Scholarship Programme, Japanese Government Scholarship for Research Scholars, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Top Class education scheme for SC, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST (Formally Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for ST), State Scholarships, Endowment Scholarships. Campus Life :

The college campus life is good and the college provides ample opportunities for research and work and project work. We are assigned lots of assignments and project work which keeps us busy throughout the M.Tech tenure. The technical fest of the college is known as Technex where we get an opportunity to show our coding skills. The college library is the house of many bestsellers international authors' books and many books related to every domain are available.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel of the college is very good but we should remember that all the hostel facilities and mess charges are provided to us at a cost of 8000 which is very reasonable and affordable and even SC/ST are given waiver in hostel fee. The hostel rooms are fully furnished. The mess food quality is good. The wardens and the staff is professional and highly trained. The hostel security is also very good.

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

THE BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS OF IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on.
