Remarks :

I was looking for a college with good research and project work opportunity, a good placement record and good national and international collaboration. I also worked hard to get a good score in GATE so that I can choose college according to my preference and could meet the cutoff criteria of top-notch IITs. As I wanted to complete my M.Tech from IITs and IIT BHU was my preference because of its educational standards as B.Tech and M.tech are the flagship course of the college, placement record, good research and project work opportunity, and good collaboration with the national and international university for the exchange programs. I really worked hard to qualify for GATE with good marks I was able to meet the cutoff criteria of IIT BHU and I have secured a 65% mark in my B.Tech program. I was able to meet all the criteria of II BHU for admission. After clearing the GATE exam I have to appear for COAP counselling for admission to IIT BHU. After completing all the admission processes at last I have to appear for the PI round with my academic documents.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Without a doubt, the curriculum of the program is according to industrial standards and norms. The college provides us with good opportunities for our research and project work. The labs are available for every department and are equipped with modern machinery and equipment. The college has also set up a Centre for Computing and Information Services (CCIS) to provide us with high-end computational servers, high availability web servers, network services, etc. that really helps us to understand modern computer technology and coding in a very easier and simpler way. The college provides us with all the higher education facilities to provide us with the highest level of education.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 37000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is part of the curriculum and after completing the 1st year of our program we are eligible for college internship programs. We do not have to worry about the companies as the college placement committee is very dedicated and hardworking and really able to invite a good number of companies for internships. Around 55+ companies visited our campus for the college internship program. The stipends start from Rs. 25000/- and goes up to Rs. 1,25,000/-.

Placement Experience :

The college provides one of the best placements. the placement of the college is according to the IITs standards with a good package. The college placement cell is very helpful and supportive as because of the guidance and support of the placement cell we receive good numbers of offers. My few of the batchmates also received pre-placement offers during their internship tenure. The highest package for our batch went up to 1 CPA and the average package was around 25 LPA. Few of our batchmates also receive an international placement. Companies like AppDynamics, Alphonso, Codenation, Flipkart APM, Microsoft, Jaguar, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj, Qualcomm, Applied Material, Confluent, Texas Instruments, etc are the companies that visited our campus during the college placement drive. According to the program fee, the college provides the best return on investment the college is really worth it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship on a merit basis is also available and scholarship for SC/ST/PwD is also available. To know more about the scholarship program and eligibility criteria you can visit the college official website.

Campus Life :

The college provides an ample environment for us to study and good research and project work opportunities. The college also organises the fests like Technex is the renowned technical fest of the college, Kashiyatra is the cultural fest of the college and Spardha is the annual sports fest of IIT BHU. The sports fest is the biggest sports fest of any IITs in India. The college also has a student parliament yes student parliament it is the link between the college authority and students. The college library is equipped with all the books around the world and from all types of authors.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are very big and spacious. The rooms and the hostel are well maintained. The rooms are cleaned regularly on daily basis. IIT BHU hostel is also known as the largest residential institute in Asia. So the facilities of the college are also very good. We are provided with high-speed 24 hours internet connectivity. The hostel mess is also very good and tasty the menu is very vast. The hostel provides us with all types of facilities and amenities as per our comfort. At this price point, the stay in the hostel is worth it.

Hostel Fee : INR 7500 per year

Faculty :

IIT BHU is very popular for its faculty. The faculty is well known for their experience and their contribution to research work. The majority of the faculty holds PhD degrees with good research work experience and with good corporate experience also which is really help full for us. The faculty also guides us during the research work.

Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2023-2035

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

THE BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS OF IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on.
