Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose mechanical engineering because my father himself is a mechanical engineer hence my interest in it. Course curriculum is appropriately structured to help learn the basics of core mechanical and allowing for a wide range of fields to be explored. The academics are not too heavy but relative grading keeps pushing you to do better. The professors are helpful and are interested in giving out projects to students who want to delve deep into core.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are similar to placements. Similar profile of companies come and the term duration varies from 1-2.5 months.
Placement Experience :
Great placement opportunities for core as well as non core. Students sit in placements in the pre-final semester. Profiles include software, data-science, data analyst, apm, hft, and many more. Highest package is in crores, average package is roughly 10 lpa
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees is semester wise and includes hostel and mess charges. There are many waive offs and scholarships available for needy students based on category and income. MCM scholarship is one such which covers the tuition fee. Loans are also available at low interest rates.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is really happening. There are a lot of opportunities available from core projects under professors, technical teams such as Racing or Satellite team, Cultural activities including music, dance, standup comedy, top notch sports facilities and exposure to non-core through teams like ShARE Consulting, or Non Institute bodies. A lot of freedom is granted to students allowing them to explore their interests.

Admission :
JEE mains and advanced entrance exam needs to be given to get into IIT. I joined a coaching institute which helped me study the various subjects and pattern of questions which are asked in these exams.
