Remarks :

I only applied for IITR. No quota. The minimum age is 14. Online counselling was done in 2015, we have to fill the form on our own and if you have to freeze the branch that you have got in any round you have to go to your nearest IIT and freeze the branch or else "Float".

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was not aware of any other course so choosed Civil Engineering. The faculty:student ratio is 1:30. All are IITs graduates and teach good enough to understand the concept by implying practicals in the courses. In one semester, 2 term exams happen, in 45-50 days difference and are easy to pass.

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I interned at Unacademy as an associate product lead with a stipend of 20k per month for 3 months. I was helping the products manager to understand the trends and inference coming out from the data and research to identify the customer behaviour in better ways.

Placement Experience :

From the last 2nd semester of your program, you will be available for placements. There will be around 200+ companies visited in 2019 like Microsoft, Samsung, Google etc, and offers made around 1000+. The highest packages are around 50 lacs while avg package lies around 10-15 lacs. 60 % of students got the placement offer as some went for higher studies. Doing the job and maybe go for MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees hike depends on the government officials but a protest can be done against the hike, it helps. There are scholarship like MCM which provides to the students and all the 4-year tuition fee can be waived if you match the criteria. First is your parent's income and second is your grades should be more than 7 from the start.

Campus Life :

Thomso is a cultural fest and Cognizance is the tech fest, both are pretty amazing, you can feel the vibes for 3 days in the air. There is a very big central library and you can borrow any book of any variety, if you are a Happy Potter fan, then the IITR library will let you feel like Hogwarts Library. Believe me, amenities don't matter in the classroom. You can play every kind of sports which you in and want to, lots of indoor and outdoor sports. There are groups like dance group, drama group, music group, Fashion group you can become the part of any group if you have the zeal for the thing.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are the best in IITR, more spacious than any other IIT, borrow, chair, table, bed, a personal balcony. Food is good but not best in quality but it's a trend which is surviving for decades so let it be. There are alot of canteens and night canteens that will not let you feel alone. The registration is quite simple, nothing to mention. There will be no need to rent a room, IITR is spread in 365 acres and there are alot of hostels with 10 MBPS speed internet, so I would suggest taking hostels.

Is this college actually good?

Placement Experience:

students are eligible for placement after 4th semester that is the 5th sem. many companies vist the college specially from 7th semester the companies that visit are paypal, amazon, tcs, wipro, atlantis and many other companies make a visit.the highest package ever offered was 88.40 lakhs and the average package was 3-5lakhs.i personally plan to work at a high end company after degree. the percennt of students getting placed is 45 to 52 percent.

Btech is one of the best degree now a days but the specialization which may act a major role in placement is not good enough in college. Exams are not that tough but you have to self study for the placement as the study of college is far different for the placement

Placements here are much better than any other reputed colleges and it provides campus placement with an average of 4 lakhs per annum. It's having a very high rate of placements in here and having a greater opportunity to purse a further masters degree.

Most honest review about RCE.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after the 5th semester to be able to apply for college placements. 5-6 companies visit every year for college placements but most companies don't offer good jobs. Around 75% of the students get placements from college campuses. My plans are to apply to big companies like Google or Amazon via gate exam or MTech.

The location and placement of this college is best compare to other engineering colleges so thats the reason i go with it and i love it there education facilities are so good faculty are full in all branches seniors are good in this college 7 branches and each branch have a own branch fest so there are lot of attracting thing who attract me amd i come to this college thats it.

The company are visiting for placements are vista. Hcl. Vipro. Comphor. By juss. Infosys. Best college in uttarakhand

Remarks:

Extracurricular activities in our college are not too good because there is no badminton court. Only a ground to play football and cricket as well, and a ground for basketball and one for volleyball. Sports events are organised by the students itself and to participate there is the entry fee.

Rce is one of the best engineering college in uttarakhand

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities are in plenty. If you take admission in SRM and manage to not take any backlog in any subject then 100% you will be placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee varies according to which courses you are taking admission. The scholarship is available for students.scholarship are giving on the basis of jee scorecard on the basis of your 12th result.
