Remarks :

The pedagogy followed at GIM is extremely nurturing for an MBA aspirant. I find the opportunities and learning avenues to be plenty. GIM is associated with the UN SDSN and that opens a lot of opportunities for budding managers of tomorrow. The admission process was quite smooth. I was notified about the dates and venue well before time. The fact that the campus is student-driven, it is giving a lot of exposure to students and helping incorporate grooming.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is covering every aspect of analytics. The subjects cover the theoretical knowledge and have exhaustive practical exposure. The course is a perfect blend of technical and management education. The faculty for the BDA program are quite knowledgeable and helping out students at all points, be it academics or case competitions or other co-curricular activities.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, GIM provides wonderful opportunities for the Summer Internship Program. The institute has a 100% placement record.

Placement Experience :

The campus offers great placement numbers to its students. The BDA program started only in 2018 and already has an average package of over 12LPA and a median package of over 11LPA, with a 100 percent placement record. The 100% record stands bold even in case of offering summer internship offers to all its students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for both the years is close to 19L, inclusive of all the requirements. Scholarship can be availed by students studying here. The job opportunity is pretty well from the campus to students studying there, in terms of summer internships and final placements.

Campus Life :

GIM life is very active. There are always activities going on, and I have not realized how time has slipped. There are over 25 clubs and societies at GIM who keep conducting various events, workshops and activities keeping the campus engaged all the time into numerable productive work. The clubs cover virtually every aspect of an MBA grad. From clubs and societies ranging from HR, marketing, operations, analytics, health, finance, investment to photography, design thinking, consulting, stage speaking and much more.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are quite satisfactory and provisions are also enough. All hygiene habits are followed stringently by the staff in terms of cooking and food. The menu holds a variety of food and the separate menu is prepared for festive occasions.

Interview Experience :

Yes, there was a GD and PI round. Before those, for BDA aspirants, one has to appear for GAAT exam. This exam tests one on statistical, business, basic coding, logical reasoning, verbal ability, data interpretation questions. First, one has to take the GAAT exam, then based on its score, and the score of the entrance test, a candidate gets an interview call. I prepared for the GD and PI by reading all possible current affair and abstract topics which I could gather from sources like newspaper and internet. I was clear about my choice about BDA and articulated my thoughts before appearing for the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of its non-specific focus on a single component it covers human resource management as well as finance management & operation management. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:10 Some faculty here are from top-tier institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and others have vast industry experience. Term Exam are held in timely fashion and because of relative grading it's comparatively difficult to pass than under graduate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing GIM's PGDM was a strategic move for me. The curriculum is dynamic, constantly evolving to reflect current business trends. Core courses in finance, marketing, and strategy provide a strong foundation, while electives let you specialize in areas like analytics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability. Plus, the faculty-student ratio of around 1:15 ensures personalized attention. Professors are industry veterans and academic thought leaders, bringing real-world expertise to the classroom. Their diverse qualifications – doctorates from top global universities, industry experience with MNCs and startups – enrich the learning experience. Teaching methods are interactive, with case studies, simulations, and guest lectures keeping things engaging. Term exams were generally on schedule, with a two-week window for preparation. Difficulty varies depending on the course and professor, but thorough preparation and utilizing faculty guidance ensured I passed comfortably.
